Just wondering if there is any capacity to provide this trip in the opposite direction - Slovenia to Split?

Unfortunately, we do not book international flights this is something that you will have to do on your own. We'd be happy to assist in advising the correct airports to fly in and out off and arrange any additional accommodations / air port transfers if needed.

Is it possible on this trip to pay extra and get your own room as a solo traveller? Can you match the discounted 2024 price of $2564 for this tour? Does the accommodation in Bled overlook the lake? I will need to get back to Split at the end of the tour - what's your recommendation for the best direct way to get from Bled to Split.

Accommodation in Bled is Milena Rooms & Apartments and we can check with our local operators about whether the accomodation overlook the lake. To get from Bled, Slovenia, to Split, Croatia, the best direct way involves a combination of driving or taking a bus, as there is no direct train or flight connection between these two locations. Driving is the most direct and flexible way to travel from Bled to Split. There are direct bus services that operate between Bled and Split, which can be a convenient and cost-effective option.

Your travel time is approximately 2 hours on Day 4 to Grabovac. Here, you'll visit Plitvice Lakes National Park; the National Park Visit is the only activity for the day. As you overnight here, you will have the day to explore.

Our guide Stipa was personable and a warm and sympathetic person. However the structure of the trip left much to be desired and could do with a re-organise. There was too much free time with the group left to their own devices. As some of us were single travellers this was frustrating and did not add to our experience. After an orientation walk in the city (there were 3 cities) we were left to our own devices. The guide sent us a link to attractions. I never use links and could not understand how to use this. Also it is a huge effort to organise museum open times, etc in a new cityl. However some of us joined an organised "Free" City tour with its own guide which was excellent and was scheduled for late in the afternoon. In Zadar some of the girls organised a boat trip for the group. This was excellent but should have been an extra in the published itineary. After all the Adriatic coast is known for its swimming and islands. At Lake Bled we were given the wrong tourist information by our guide. So ended ujp spending 20 euros on a boat trip to the island where if you wanted to enter the church it was a further 12 euros. We had little information on the casttle overlooking the Lake.Show more
