- Scott· January 25th, 2025We traveled through various cities in Morocco for six days with our guide, Anwar. He picked us up at our hotel in Casablanca, and our truly private tour began. Before the tour started, we received an itinerary that allowed us to anticipate our schedule for the six days. The best part of this tour was that all the accommodations were perfect. Every hotel we stayed in was beautiful, and the food provided was all incredibly delicious. Anwar drove long distances without getting tired and was meticulous in showing us various sights and attractions. (He even played music to our taste. He’s also a great DJ, haha.) He was flexible in adjusting the schedule to our requests and took us to a market to buy necessary items. The service was excellent. Additionally, our visit to Merzouga Desert on the fourth day will be an unforgettable memory. Riding camels through the desert and watching the sunset is something we will never forget. The scenery from the heart of the desert was worth the nine-hour drive. The meal provided at the Desert Camp was the best we had in Morocco! After dinner, we enjoyed a live music show under a starry sky, making our desert experience truly magical. The staff was also very kind. The local guide who led our walking tour in Fez was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the maze-like streets. Since it was a private tour, the itinerary was flexible and tailored to our requests, which was the biggest advantage. He was a very safe and professional driver and we felt so comfortable out on the roads with him, which is important for a trip where you are spending hours on the road each day.
