my daughter and I would like to do the 8-day trip from Lima - Lima with Machu Picchu in May. Can you advise regarding flights.

You can arrive at any time in Lima and we can pick you up, just keep in mind the check in at the hotel in Lima is at 11am. For your flight to Arequipa, there are only the airlines LATAM, Sky Airlines and JetSmart which do this route. Please you must arrive before 1pm in Arequipa, as you would have your City tour in the afternoon.

Can this be a private tour and can I get a quote with all the entrance fees and domestic flight within Peru included? I also wanted to take the luxury train that has all around view.

The first 6 days deserve 6 stars: there was a taxidriver waiting at every arrival. Also the pick-ups from the hotel were excellent and always on time. The same for the guides; they were experts, very nice and nothing was to much. But why only 4 stars? Because of a few minor things: per example, on the busticket for the nightbus was a completely different name listed. But the worst part was that three times we were denied entry to Machu Picchu because the wrong time slot was listed on the entry card. It said 07:00 and we were there at 11:00. Thanks to our guide, we were admitted, but the guide had to declare that he was responsible for us. This was already annoying, but I also had to leave my admission card behind which I found very unfortunate. The guide said he had called PV-travels and got the answer "not my problem". Machu Picchu was our main destination for this trip, so we were in shock. I myself contacted our hostess on the way to the airport the next day, but "End of our services" means no explanation, no apology, just no answer at all. By the way, our nationality on the train ticket to Machu Picchu was also wrong. But we had a great trip through southern Peru and we are looking back on it with great pleasure. We could not have planned it all ourselves in 8 days.Show more
