    Do you have to pack small and carry your own luggage?

      All travellers are required to carry their own luggage. However, it's never for long periods of time - mainly just when arriving at hotels and making their way to their rooms. That's usually the only time they'll need to handle their bags themselves. They will be fine to travel with a suitcase or backpack. It is easier with a backpack/holdall style instead of a suitcase. But it's not necessary, we have people bring suitcases all the time. We do recommend packing light though! 10-20kgs of stuff should be plenty and there are places along the way where they will be able to do laundry.

      The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 40's, 50's and early 60s travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you're aware you'll be in the company of younger travellers and you're comfortable with that, then we'd love you both to join us! If you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly!

      Airport pickup is available 24/7 and as there are no activities planned on day 1, you can choose to arrive at anytime. The group meets around 7pm for a welcome dinner, so we recommend arriving before then if possible. If not, no worries!       Our 15 day tour starts in Seminyak, but an airport pick-up is included, so we'll be able to collect you from Denpasar Airport and take you straight to the accommodation. Regarding your visa, it's completely up to you. However, it's often better to prepare this in advance, as the queues for visas on arrival at the airport can be quite lengthy. Regarding flights, I would recommend taking a look at flights to see what works for you and how much they cost and then I would secure your spot on the trip.

      On Day 1 of your trip, there are no planned activities, so you can choose to arrive at any time. The group meets around 7pm for a welcome dinner, so we recommend arriving before then if possible. If you choose to arrive a day or two before your trip begins, that's absolutely fine! We can arrange an extra night at the starting accommodation for you, and you'll still be able to get picked up from the airport!

      Could you explain the departure tax for the flights? For the Bali tourist levy, does this apply to UK Citzens? If it does, do we pay it in advance? Will we be automatically registered with the police when we get to the hotel on the first day? Does the Health Pass apply to UK citzens as well? Will the tour guide be with us at all times, look after you if you need anything and make sure no one gets left behind? How flexible is the tour? Will there be free time? When we have booked a slot on the tour, when will we receive confimation? What are the Vaccinations that you recommend? Also what are the age ranges for this tour and how many people?

      Our tours are for over 18's only. The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 39, but we regularly have people in their 40's travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly! There will usally be around 10-15 people in your group. Regarding the tourist levy and health form, these are required for UK passport holders travelling to Indonesia. You will not need to register with the police as we will not be staying on any private accommodation. There will be plenty of free time along the way! The tour will stick to the set schedule but there is time to relax and explore! There are no compulsory vaccinations for any of our destinations and all areas we travel to are very low risk.

      The airport transfer back to the airport is not included so this will be at your own expense. It shouldn't cost no more than $30. The departure tax is normally included in the price of your flights, so you shouldn't have to pay anything extra at the airport.

    • Yellow fever - Certificate of vaccination required if arriving from an area with a risk of yellow fever transmission for Indonesia. Ideally 10 days before travel.
    • Japanese B encephalitis - Recommended for Indonesia. Ideally 1 month before travel.
  • Visa
    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before May 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with INTRO Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and INTRO Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "INTRO Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
