We are a married couple exploring options to visit Antarctica aboard a smaller cruise like the Ocean Nova in November 2026. A double bed cabin would be our preference if possible/available. What options do you have? Any duration from 11 to 15 days is fine with us, we'd like to optimise wildlife viewing, and if there's a chance also cross the Antarctic circle.

For the November 16th departure, this does not go to the Antarctic circle, and there is limited space left. We don't have any double rooms left, but we have the below options: Comfort Twin Cabin: AUD $15,195 per person, Sale Price Explorer Twin Cabin: AUD $13,815 per person, Sale Price If you want to crossing the Antarctic Circle, we do have some trip options however they don't run until end of December - February. Are your dates flexible?

how many people are sharing in a quad room

Quad cabins are reserved for groups of 4 only that are wanting to room together. As a solo you have the option to book into any Single, Triple, or Explorer twin cabins.

How much extra from the $9,516 is a single room, please?

The $9,516 USD cost is only applicable to the "Triple Cabin" which cannot be turned into a solo cabin. If you are looking at our December 6th - 16th, 2026 voyage of "Best of Antarctica: Wildlife Explorer" we currently have 3 "Twin" cabins that can be turned into a Solo for an additional fee or our "Solo Cabin" built for single travelers. Explorer Twin or Double - $10,579 USD, Comfort Twin - $11,637 USD, Single Cabin - $17,124 USD.

The tour itself was great. I didn’t receive my hotel information or confirmation until I actually landed in Ushuaia. The boat is operated by Intrepid, and I would give them the 5 star review. Participants who booked directly though them had opportunities to pick rooms, book additional tours and activities that are literally once in a lifetime experiences. By the time I even heard about them they were sold out or too much time had lapsed for “last minute” bookings. Book with intrepid directly, it’s worth it. They are very organized!Show more

  Many countries require a visa and obtaining the correct visa for your trip and any countries you may transit through is your responsibility. No visas are required to visit the Antarctic continent or its offshore islands. However, you will need to have your passport with you on the ship, as port authorities will wish to inspect passports on departure from Ushuaia and also again at the end of your voyage
