There is possibility to add the Grand New museum for extra cost. Yes the tour is guaranteed to depart weather they are the only booking or not.

What hotel does this tour stay at? Can I skip the day 3 tour? Will the price be the same? Will there be any unplanned trips to buy souvenirs?

The hotel most likely will be Pyramids Planet Hotel at Giza (Private room with private bathroom). We can Skip the tour to Day 3 and it will be cheaper. We don't make trips to buy souvenir, normally the guides in Egypt recommend one or 2 things if you want to see for few minutes, if not then no stops. I will make the quote without single supplement (Single supplement will be the discount).

Having a private guide allowed us to ask questions and get detailed answers on what was important to us. Having a private tour allowed us to customize our experience. Our guide, Sam, took the time to explain in detail what we were seeing, what locals were saying, and providing me with detailed information.
