  Very good cruise. All crew was super nice, food was good and everything was clean. They even celebrated my birthday and the cake was awesome ;-) We also had the chance to have Lamey as a guide, a very knowlegeable and friendly guy ! Learned a lot about ancient egypt thanks to him. Would definitly recommand this tour to anyone.Show more

  We visited Egypt in June 2019. We were two families of 2 adults & 2 children. While building our itinerary we did research on TA for 3 nights Nile cruise and contacted Luxor & Aswan Travel to explore the options. From the onset, we found Mr Mahmoud Ahmed to be extremely prompt and courteous. He gave us a good deal for the 3-nights Nile cruise aboard M/S Le Terassee. The boat was renovated in 2016 & we found the quality of the food & service onboard to be extremely value for the money. Furthermore, in the 3-nights cruise package the following tours were included: 1. Philae Temple 2. Aswan High Dam 3. Unfinished Obelisk 4. Temple of Kom Oumbo 5. Essna Temple 6. Karnak Temple 7. Luxor Temple 8. Valley of the Kings 9. Colossi of Memnon 10. Temple of Queen Hatshepust In addition to the above, we took optional tours to a Nubian village & Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple. During the entire tour, we were accompanied by a very knowledgeable and humble Egyptologist, Mr Ahmed Megaly. He was a gem of a person. He gave us a very good historical background of these places. He was patient and he made sure that all our needs were met. On our last day, Mahmoud himself came to see us off to the Luxor airport which was a very nice gesture. We found him a very humble and courteous person. We would recommend Luxor & Aswan Travel in a heartbeat to anyone in search of a reliable tour operator in Egypt providing a top-notch service. They are among the top Egypt tour operators on TA for a reason!Show more

  From the moment we landed, Mahmoud made sure all of our needs were taken care of. He seemed like he knew what we needed more than we did. Our hotel overlooking The Nile in Cairo was wonderful and we felt welcomed and safe everywhere we went. Our tour guide, was heavenly as she expertly guided us through Egyptian history. She was very flexible with re-arranging our day based on our interest. Our cruise down the Nile on the Mayfair continued to impress us with their service. The highlight of my trip was a special surprise birthday celebration arranged by Mahmoud completed with a birthday cake and dancing along the Nile. I have travelled extensively across the globe with several tour companies such as Abercrombie & Kent, Cox & Kings, etc and I can tell you that Luxor and Aswan is top notch!Show more

  I traveled to Egypt from Australia for a short holiday to visit the family , I booked a Nile cruise with Luxor and Aswan Travel . I was very pleasantly surprised by how they organized everything . since the moment we arrived Aswan we were grated by the amazing tour guide Hassan who went above and beyond with his services . it was very clear that he loves what he does and really enjoys doing his job . The company organised everything perfectly and everyone on board the ship was friendly . I forgot to mention that I found it really hard to book the nile cruise with an Egyptian company while in Australia as all of them require cash payment for some reason that i couldn't understand . Luxor and Aswan Travel was literally the only tour agency that looked after me and my situation and offered a variety of payment options including online payment I would highly recommend their servicesShow more
