Itinerary
- Day 1
Copenhagen
You'll arrive in Copenhagen and have time to settle in before meeting the group at 6 pm. If your flight gets in early, there's plenty to do. The pastel-colored buildings around Nyhavn waterfront are worth a walk, and Tivoli Gardens is right there if you want to check out the historic rides. The Norrebro neighborhood has a trendy vibe if you're interested in wandering around and grabbing food. Just make sure you're back for the group meeting.

- Day 2
Copenhagen
Today you'll get around Copenhagen by bike, which is how locals navigate the city. You can head to the classicist palaces at Amalienborg, see the Marble Church, or visit Christiansborg Palace and the National Museum. In summer, the free harbor baths are a nice option for a quick dip. The afternoon is yours to explore however you want, so cycle around and find your own favorites.

Copenhagen to Gothenburg
The morning starts with a guided tour from Street Voices, a company that focuses on showing visitors the real Copenhagen and the people with interesting stories. After that, you'll catch a direct train to Gothenburg. The train ride takes a few hours, so you'll have time to relax and watch the Swedish countryside pass by.

Vrango Island
An early ferry gets you to Vrango Island, the southernmost island in the Gothenburg Archipelago. The island has a fishing heritage and some beautiful beaches plus nature reserves to explore. There's a kayaking activity included (if you're going in summer), which is a nice way to see the coastline. Afterward, the afternoon is free to wander the town or try the optional floating sauna before heading back to Gothenburg for the evening.

- Day 5
Alingsas and Gothenburg
You'll head to Alingsas for a guided tour focused on Swedish fika culture and coffee traditions. A local expert will take you through traditional cafes where you'll sample cinnamon buns, pastries, chocolate truffles, and sandwiches. It's a relaxed morning learning about what fika means to Swedes. Later in the afternoon, you'll return to Gothenburg with free time to walk around museums, do some shopping, or check out the historic neighborhoods.

Gothenburg to Oslo
A morning bus takes you across the border into Norway and to Oslo. Your tour leader will guide an orientation walk through the city, which has a quirky and colorful feel. You'll have the afternoon to yourself to check out Masmanns Food Market, watch glass blowers at Hadeland Glassverk, browse Karl Johans Gate for shopping, or visit the Munch Museum. A welcome dinner with the group happens this evening.

Oslo
This is your free day in Oslo. You could island-hop around the Oslofjord, walk through Vigeland Park, catch a ferry to the Viking Ship Museum, or find other spots on your own. A second welcome meeting happens at 6 pm, and then there's an optional evening activity if you want to hang out with other travelers.

Oslo to Trondheim
You'll leave Oslo by train heading toward Trondheim. The route crosses through dramatic Norwegian countryside, so it's worth staying by the window. Trondheim was Norway's first capital and has a lot of history around coronations. The city itself sits on the Trondheimsfjord with colorful wooden storehouses along the Nidelva River. Your leader can point you toward the best seafood spots in town.

- Day 9
Trondheim to Bodo
Start with an easy walk around Lianvatnet lake in the Bymarka nature reserve, where you'll see forested areas with grassy slopes and shaded paths. After returning to Trondheim, you'll board the Hurtigruten ferry, which has been running for over 130 years. The ferry heads toward Bodo, and you'll have time to relax on deck while taking in the Norwegian coastline. Meals feature regional ingredients from the area.

Bodo to Lofoten Islands
You'll arrive in Bodo this morning. The city was rebuilt after World War II destruction and now sits against a dramatic mountain backdrop. One unique thing about Bodo is the world's densest population of white-tailed sea eagles, so keep your eyes open. There's an optional trip to Saltstraumen if you want to see the world's strongest tidal current. Later, you'll catch an afternoon ferry to Svolvaer on the Lofoten Islands and check into rorbu cabins, which are traditional Norwegian fishermen's homes converted for guests.

- Day 11
Lofoten Islands
An included RIB boat excursion takes you into the narrow Trollfjord with its steep sides. You'll navigate through small islands and skerries in the Raftsundet Strait, and you'll likely spot sea eagles circling just meters overhead. The afternoon is free to walk around Svolvaer's fishing village. If you're interested, there's optional sea kayaking around the harbor or hiking through the dramatic granite peaks.

- Day 12
Lofoten Islands
After breakfast, there's an easy hike to Linken peak (105 m) that takes about 2 hours and gives you nice views of the surrounding mountains and sea. If you want something more challenging, your leader can guide you up Tjeldbergtinden for views over the sea, fjords, and Svolvaer. If you prefer taking it easier, you can head back after Linken Peak and spend the rest of the day exploring on your own.

Lofoten Islands to Tromso
This is a travel day leaving the Lofoten Islands. A local bus gets you to Harstad, where you'll have free time for lunch or looking around. Then you'll catch a local ferry that passes through stunning fjords and even a maelstrom before reaching Tromso, which sits above the Arctic Circle. Tromso is known for its music and arts festivals plus a university. You'll have a free evening once you arrive.

Tromso
An e-bike city tour with a local guide starts the morning. You'll learn about what life is like in the Arctic Circle while visiting local spots like the MS Polstjerna, a 19th-century seal-hunting vessel (entry not included), an old farmstead, and Prestvannet, the island's largest lake. The afternoon is yours to explore museums, art galleries, take boat cruises, or visit Olhallen, an old pub that's part of the historic Mack Brewery founded back in 1877. There's an optional final group dinner if you want it.
