The tour was very good. Tour company owner and our primary contact Rana and our driver Dinesh were very good to deal with. Rana picked us up from the airport and sat us down to explain what to expect for the next 7 days on our tour. We went in August, which happens to be the rainy season, and thus was not a busy season, so it eneded up being a private tour. We had the same driver throughout the tour, but our guides changed at each destination. And they were all very good to deal with. Knowing the standard of accommodations isn't what we were used to, we paid a little bit extra to upgrade to 4 star hotels, and it was definitely worth it. I strongly recommend doing that. Just the upgraded views make it worth it. The one major complaint I have about Nepal is thier roads. It took us 10hrs to drive 250 kilometres. I wouldn't even call it a road, it's just a series of potholes that you need to drive over very slowly. Our driver Dinesh did an excellent job of navigating them, but it did seem like we were spending a large chuck of every other day just driving. The distance we covered isn't large, but because the roads are atrocious, what should have taken 3-4hrs, routinely took more than twice that long. But we had a good time in Nepal despite the drives, and I would definitely recommend Ranas company any day if you choose to go to Nepal. He is very attentive to his customers needs, that's for sure.Show more

When I arrived in Kathmandu I was welcomed by the tour company owner, Rana, who discussed the trip with me and made me feel really at ease (solo female traveler). I thought it was really great for him to come and welcome me at the airport and have coffee with me at the hotel. He really cares about his customers and ensuring that they have a wonderful trip. My guide was Sanjaya who guided me through Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara. He was extremely knowledgeable, fun, and helpful throughout the journey. I got quite ill at the end of the trip and he was very attentive. I loved everything about this trip and will be returning to Nepal again and traveling with this company again!Show more

We had a great time on our tour with Adventure Himalayan Travels. Everything was very smooth from the moment we were picked up from the airport until we were dropped back off there. Our tour ended up being a private tour for the two of us with our own guide and driver, who were both excellent. We felt it was very good value and would definitely recommend the tour and this company. Just be aware that the accommodations standard in Nepal is not the same as in Europe/North America and some of the hotels were really in need of some renovations; actually our hotel in Kathmandu was being renovated while we were there and we could see the difference between our first stay and when we came back at the end of our tour. If you are particular about your accommodations, I would advise requesting for a hotel upgrade.Show more

The tour was excellent and the Managing director Rana did everything Possible to make the tour interesting and took us to good shopping places as well. We did Kathmandu ,Pokhara sightseeing and Chitwan activists like elephant riding,watching birds. We saw the excellent view of fishtail and Annapurna range from sarangkot, Pokhara. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
