  Our tour of Sri Lanka was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting many historic sites, exploring the country, seeing the wildlife, tasting the food and learning about the culture. We had booked to go on a group tour however it ended up being a private tour, which worked out well because it gave us greater flexibility. Our driver / guide Sampath Fernando was simply the best. First and foremost he was a safe and skilful driver who was always punctual, organised and respectful. Sampath went over and above to ensure that we got the best out of our tour. For example, he’d tweak our itinerary based on weather forecast or crowd prediction, so we didn’t attempt to see a colourful sunset that didn’t happen or sit in a row of jeeps when we went on a safari. He suggested additional things he could take us to do / see if time permitted and he would pull up (safely) on the spur of the moment so we could observe wildlife that we came across or take in a special view. Sampath’s experience and knowledge certainly made a huge difference to our trip and we are deeply indebted to him. The tour itinerary is rather full-on in terms of content (especially during the first week) and so we prioritised what we wanted to do, culling the odd activity in order to make the most of our experience, whilst having time out to relax too. Despite this, we still managed to see and do a lot of different things. The tour itinerary for Day 13 should certainly be reviewed as it doesn’t make sense to drive all the way from Mirissa to Bentota and back for a day trip, and then travel the same route back up the coast the following day en route to Colombo. The hotels were all of an acceptable standard, with some being better than others in terms of room facilities / functionality. Importantly, all the hotels were well-located, with large comfortable beds, tasty breakfasts and friendly customer service. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour or Sampath as a driver. It was an easy, stress-free and enjoyable way to explore Sri Lanka.Show more

We also had a magical night at Rekawa Beach watching sea turtles lay their eggs in the wild. • Relaxing in Mirissa: Pure bliss on the beautiful beach in Mirissa, which Gayan recommended as the perfect spot to unwind. Summary The combination of Anushka behind the scenes and Gayan in the field makes Beauty Lanka Travels top-tier. We felt more like guests visiting good friends than just anonymous clients. Every day was a genuine adventure, and the hospitality we received was second to none. ​The Highlight: Scaling Sigiriya ​The absolute standout of our trip was visiting Sigiriya. Scaling the "Lion Rock" was an unforgettable experience—the views from the summit are breathtaking, and seeing the ancient engineering and frescoes up close was a real bucket-list moment. It was a bit of a climb, but the reward at the top is worth every step! ​Our Guide & Driver: Nilantha ​What truly made the trip seamless was our guide, Nilantha.   The communications from the very beginning was top thru whatsapp with Anushka. We had our planned tour but our daily activities were flexible, like when to start, where to go, what to do, etc....these things we discussed with our guide Kumara before the end of our daily tour. The routes were beautiful, very nice sceneries, very lucky too with the weather. We had nice contacts too with the locals where we had our home stays, could enjoy Sri Lankan helpfullness & friendliness. We are very lucky too, to have Chandana Kumara as our guide. He explained the story behind the places we are visiting, giving us good tips where else to go, taking care of us very much in every way, verrrry punctual in picking us up. His car is always clean every morning with a bottle of water ready beside our seat. Very nice & friendly guy, our tour guide Kumara. Thank you Kumara for making our Sri Lanka holiday a memorable one.   Beauty Lanka organised a 14 day itinerary for us (a family of four) to travel with a driver around the main sites of Sri Lanka. We were met at the airport by Chandana, who took us to our first hotel for a well earned sleep! We are back at Amagi Aria Hotel in Negombo after the trip - had one of the best experiences - loved Sri Lanka and its people and frankly don’t want to leave. The packed itinerary kept our 20 and 17 year olds busy with new experiences every day which is just how we like it. We have seen elephants up close, been in the middle of Buddhist ceremonies, ate in village houses, swam on pristine beaches and stayed in great hotels - I could go on. We recommend Beauty Lanka (special thanks to Priyadarshani) and don’t be afraid to book direct as there were no issues for us. We must give a special shout out to Chandana who was just a really nice guy to spend time with, he went the extra mile for us in all situations. He always had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and we all felt so comfortable with him. He put up with us changing our mind about things and was very flexible, kind and thoughtful, also a great driver. He took us off the beaten track and showed us lots of things we would have missed without him, new had so many authentic experiences. We highly recommend him after our fantastic holiday!Show more

  The driver (Rajh) was very accommodating from day one. This packed tour is not for the light hearted as your aways on the go which is what we had to do with such little time. The only down fall was the accommodations as only 2 hotels had hot water which is needed after a sweaty day. The itinerary is not set in stone which gives you more flexibility with your time which is nice as we travelled as a couple. This trip is suitable for all ages so bring the children and the grandparents ( but don’t make them walk Sigiriya Rock).Show more

  As a solo female traveler first time traveling I got assigned the most suitable amazing person Nira. From the airport Nira waited for me with a big sign board I ddnt have to struggle to spot him. Nira made sure that my safety during this trip is the most important thing in this foreign country .He paid attention to the things that I would like to see in this country & went above & beyond that I enjoy my stay in Sri Lanka. Some of the places that he took me to were not on the itinerary but he managed to accommodate me, what ever issue I had he managed to get it resolved. Overall the trip was awesome & thank you everyone involved in the organizing.Show more
