Even if the title mentions an upgrade to a private tour, I still thought that the upgrade had to be requested, I was so convinced that I was joining a group tour that I even paid extra for the private bedroom, now I guess where did my money go, as I would have been in a private room anyway. Moreover, who said that a private tour is an upgrade? As a solo traveler, I wanted to meet other people and fellow travelers, but I ended up spending 6 days with a driver, not my idea of adventure. Beside this inconvenience, for I would not chose this tour again, I appreciated the fact that my guide INDRA was a local, so he could provide informations and knoledge about the country and he knew how to adapt the road of the itinerary during the heavy rains. For the price I paid I hade accomodations, breakfast and transports. All the activities were to be paid extra, or if they were free I was asked to tip. In some moments I had the feeling that tourists are seen as lemons to squeeze, luckily I could refuse all the activities that I didn't want to do and I was driven to the activities of my choice like yoga classes and city walking.Show moreTrip date: November 2025
