We are avid photographers and more interested in taking photos of the landscape rather than participating in the adventure tours. We would also like to book a private room where possible. Can you advise whether this tour is suitable for us.

A private room upgrade is possible for the two nights in Punakaiki and one night in Kaikoura but not for the three nights in Marahau (Abel Tasman NP) as the accommodation doesn't have private rooms. The surcharge for the upgrade is $150 per room and night.

Is it possible to book a private twin/double room instead of staying in dorms?

Why is that Tour for ages up to 35? Do you need to be extremely fit?

Our general guest ages are between 20 to 39. You only require a normal level of fitness.

I had the best 7 days on my Southern Loop tour with Wild Kiwi. This tour blew all my expectations and it was awesome to check out the Upper South Island. My favorite spots were Kaikoura, where I went swimming with dolphins and also the Abel Tasman National Park. The vehicle was so comfortable and there was plenty of space to stretch out and being able to connect to the wifi was a bonus! The pace of the tour was great as there were plenty of opportunities to do lots of walks, activities and really explore the different locations along the way. Overall, I couldn't recommend Wild Kiwi enough.Show more
