Our weekly tours in October are almost fully booked; however, we do have availability between the 2nd and 8th should you wish to arrange a private trip to Meteora.

Will this tour have a lot of walking, which might be difficult for him? He has a prostate problem and would need to use a bathroom every hour or two. Will this be possible on a group tour? Will there be any possibility for us to do this tour from Feb 26-March 4?

Since you prefer to start the tour on February 26th, we can offer it to you as a private tour for a supplement of EUR 500 per person. This will allow us to adjust the pace so your father can enjoy a smooth and comfortable experience. Moreover, according to our driving schedule, we make a stop every 1.5 hours.

I would like to see a declarations page as to exactly what is covered, including pre-existing conditions, and for how much they are covered, so that I can compare it to what we are used to purchasing.

All our tours include comprehensive travel insurance covering early or delayed returns, trip interruptions, extended stays, travel delays, lost or delayed baggage, emergency medical and dental treatment, emergency transportation, and travel-related accidents, with coverage limits ranging from €100 for travel delays to €75,000 for medical emergencies.

Paradisial Peloponnese tour looks brilliant. I will be travelling alone and need my own bedroom, but am very happy travelling in a small group. I wish to go in January 2026. I can start any day.

Our tours run with a minimum of two participants, and at the moment, we don't have any sign-ups yet for January 2026. Since you're flexible with dates, that gives us a great chance to find a good match for you. We'll keep you updated as soon as we have another guest interested in that month. We can also arrange a private room for you, so you'll have your own comfortable space while still enjoying the small-group experience.

Are there any swimming opportunities on this tour?

Yes, there are swimming opportunities almost every day. Most of our overnight stops are by the sea, and several of the hotels also have swimming pools.

Wondering what is the 'deal' that is being offered? And when does that deal end?

Currently, we do not run any promotion but please keep in mind that we always offer a 5% discount for groups of 4 people, and a 15% discount for groups of 6 people.

We had 4 days out of Athens and we just told George that we were interested in seeing some of the country, eating good food and tasting some good local wines. He did the rest. With a holiday to cope with George lined up a guide for us (Stavroula was a great guide with an extensive knowledge of Greek history to teach us) and set it up. It was a full 4 days with pick ups, drop offs and arrangements that couldn't be beat. The food, the wine and the sights were great. The company of George and Stavroula might have been even better! This was our 2nd tour with George, and it was *just right*. We had high expectations after our Amazing Aegean trip in April 2023, and everything met or exceeded our hopes. It's like traveling with friends who want to share all the best parts of their home with guests. The best part of the Pictours of Greece tours is that once we get off the flight in Athens, we don't think about anything again. Not where to go, what to see, what the hours are, how to navigate transit, not even what to order at a restaurant. The hardest decision is what to choose at the included hotel buffet breakfast. A true break from work and home routines. Vivi was an excellent guide, and as always, with Pictours, having the same guide for the whole trip from the Acropolis in Athens to all the other ancient sites, helps tie the history together. Every hotel was charming, every meal was delicious. Our dietary preferences were considered at each restaurant, and there were seldom repeats -- we enjoyed the specialties of each region, and George worked with the restaurants to find excellent alternatives for a vegetarian when the specialties were seafood or lamb. The only thing not perfect was a bit of rain & wind, but George & Vivi worked to ensure we had great visits and shuffled the schedule as needed to work with the unpredictable spring weather. It's still worth visiting Greece in April and early May -- mostly warm, with very few visitors, and only a little rain. Now, I'm just trying to find a George to take us our Ireland, Norway, and a few other bucket list destinations, and we'll definitely be back - we still have the Mystical Mainland itinerary to try.Show more

This was a fabulous tour. It exceeded our expectations. The driver/organizer George handled all our needs to a very high standard, especially when my wife developed some health issues. He made necessary changes in the background without any disruption to our enjoyment of our tour. On this tour you will find a variety of sites to visit from the Parthenon to the modern city of Napflion. From Mycenae to Olympia and many interesting place in-between and after. Be prepared for a mind blowing experience. Now for the food. Being in a small group allowed us to have meals in small family restaurants with the delicious local meals. This tour has been described as a "foodie" tour with some archeology thrown in. (Lots of archeology) Here is a load shout out to our guide Babis. His encyclopedic knowledge of all things Greek, both ancient and modern along with a story telling method of presenting all that knowledge in a very informative and easy to follow way.Show more

a wonderful trip with George and a very special guide Sofia. it was tough walking at times but there is really no way around that on the ancient sites. George did his best to reduce some of the tough walking. George goes out of his way to arrange interesting and varied hotels, all were good to excellent. George takes you only to good local restaurants where you can experience a full range of Greek cuisine. in total we counted 64 different dishes. we only had moussaka once and it was very good. George sweats the details. we lucked out , a six person tour toured out to be a private tour for my wife and I , a special treat.Show more

  We would like some recommendations for the islands. My dad only speaks Mandarin and if you have any guides who can communicate in Mandarin that will be amazing. If not, that's totally good and I can translate. My dad likes to see as many unique and different nature scenes as possible, take photos. He likes to mostly be driven, or ferry or flight to various locations with stops at the scenaries spots for photos. He doesn't like long walking.

The Paradisial Peloponnese tour looks excellent however being two Australian retirees the price of the trip and airfares are out of our range for just over a week of travel. I notice on TOUR RADAR that your October departures are half price.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Pictours of Greece. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Pictours of Greece will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Pictours of Greece" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
