What hygiene measures are implemented in times of Covid-19?
Our vehicles are thoroughly sanitized prior to the start of the tour and we will be cleaning and disinfect all surfaces on a daily basis. Furthermore, we offer hand sanitizer throughout the whole tour. All our accommodation and restaurant partners follow hygiene protocols, appropriate physical distancing of tables, in lobby and other public areas. All museums and sites we will visit during the tour are now fully complying with the hygiene standards.
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is not allowed inside the vehicles used on the tour, the archaeological sites, museums and restaurants you will visit. Generally, it is also not allowed on any of the hotel premises that you will stay at but it is recommended to check with the hotel reception if this is something you require.
Is travel insurance included?
Basic travel insurance is included on this tour by PicTours of Greece. However, for your own peace of mind please make sure you are adequately covered. If you require travel insurance, TourRadar has partnered up with World Nomads to provide a hassle-free experience. More information can be found here (/travel-insurance).
I am travelling in a group, will we all get to share a room together?
All the hotels used on the tour generally offer twin, double or triple rooms which means you can have a maximum of 3 people in a room. If you have a group larger than 3 people you will either be able to share a few of the above rooms or if available you will be upgraded to a family suite.
I am a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?
The hotels used on the tour are based on staying in twin, double or triple rooms with a minimum of 2 travellers per room. If you are travelling alone there is a compulsory single supplement as it is not possible to share a room with another solo traveller on the tour.
Are you able to bring your pets on the tours?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on the tour.
Are children able to join your tours?
PicTours of Greece prefers to only allow children over the age of 16 years to join their tours due to the nature of their tours & activities involved. If you are travelling with children a tailor-made tour can be organised for your group, please contact our team of Travel Experts for further information.
