  My husband and I were very impressed with this tour (Amazing Aegean). George (Yorgos) is organized, aware of clients’ needs and proud of his heritage. He managed to arrange stops on the tour that are not on the typical tourist agenda. He has sourced many contacts, so that his clients can experience the real Greece. Whether we were taking a cooking class in a private home or learning how to choose olive oil, wine or honey, his contacts made us feel welcome. We had time to enjoy each experience, while enjoying fabulous food. The small group van travel allowed us to visit sites in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition on this tour, Sylvia was the archeology/history guide on the trip. She is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and easygoing. She was a welcome asset to the trip and gave us a thorough education on each site. If you enjoy a moderately active tour with no stress, this is the way to see Greece.Show more

  I cannot say enough about how fabulous this tour was - it exceeded expectations in every way. George is a master at combining experiences in order to meet a wide array of cultural and personal interests. The itinerary was full enough to keep you interested and engaged all day, but not so rushed that you were not able to really absorb and enjoy each venue and activity. The food was absolutely amazing - at every meal we experienced new and different local dishes in charming and relaxed environments. George has so many local contacts and is clearly well respected in his profession that we felt like family being welcomed, as opposed to tourists. The small group environment allowed for in depth conversation, resulting in learning more about the culture and local environments than any other tour I have ever taken. It was an outstanding experience, and I am already looking into his other tours.Show more

  Truly a spectacular tour in every respect—hotels, restaurants, sites, and authentic experiences were exceptional! I highly recommend PicTours of Greece for providing a high-quality, perfectly executed, memorable tour. Tour manager George is a superb communicator/leader and executed every detail of the trip flawlessly, orchestrating logistics with authority and ease. He was also flexible and super-accommodating to special requests/needs. Babis is a tour guide extraordinaire who dazzled the group with his impressive historical and cultural knowledge and interesting, fun commentaries. Hotels, restaurants, and sites in Athens, Crete, and Santorini were all first-rate and very well chosen. From iconic sites to hidden gems and unique cultural experiences bursting with local color and Greek hospitality, the tour was well-planned and well-paced. The scrumptious culinary experiences were a huge highlight of the trip—amazing food every single day! Would definitely book another trip with PicTours.Show more

  Amazing experience. Every detail taken care of by the amazing Yorgos (George). The only decision I had to make was deciding what to weR each day. The sites and towns visited were interesting, the people we met were engaging, the lodging exquisite, and the food -amazing and plentiful. Yorgos ensures expectations were exceeded; he truly thrives when his guests enjoy themselves. Our guide, Babis, had an excellent repository of Greek history and a wonderful knack for story telling. Very approachable. I am saving for another Pictours trip - hopefully in the not too distant future.Show more

  Exceptional trip. Every detail attended to by the local owner George. The food, accommodations and excursions were all high quality. I had unique experiences only someone local would know about and be able to provide to tourists - such as a local cooking experience in Crete. The local tour guide that traveled with us was exceptional as well. George, the owner, also traveled with us to make sure every detail was attended to - including excellent bus, taxis and van drivers.. I traveled solo to and from the US - and also a few days on my own after the group tour ended. I felt safe and prepared the entire journey. Felt pampered and spoiled much of the time.Show more

  Yorgas and Babis provided a tour that exceeded expectations. Yorgas (aka George) selected 4/5 star hotels and, most importantly, made amazing meal selections that provided us an authentic Greek culinary experience. It was fun and educational, but travelers should be willing to try new foods. Babis' knowledge of Greek history is encyclopedic, informative and entertaining. Any needs or concerns were addressed and Yorgas made adjustments to meet our needs. Both welcome feedback. I certainly recommend anyone wanting a Greek experience sign up with PicTours.Show more

  This trip was worth every cent! George is a true professional, who manages the experience to a level of detail which makes the trip run so smoothly. His pre-trip communication was timely and informative. He runs a very ethical business, and it is apparent he is well-known and respected throughout the tour destinations. He secured the best of hotels and restaurants for our two-week tour of Greece, including the mainland, Crete, and Santorini. All events and tour stops, ran on time; we never waited for a bus as George had the timing of all activities scheduled to the minute. We had the right blend of scheduled activities, balanced with unscheduled free time. I can't say enough about this experience. You will not be disappointed traveling with George of Pictours of Greece.Show more

  Our tour was an amazing experience. Tour manager George took all the mental effort out of the trip and allowed us to relax and not think about any of the logistics at all. Babis is an excellent guide, knowledgeable and friendly. Having one consistent guide throughout the trip really brought together the various eras of history, how each site was related to others on our journey and how modern Greece was established. The tour over all balanced culture, historic sites, great food, and free time to relax or explore, very well and we never felt that the days were too full, nor were we ever bored. Each accommodation was well chosen, spacious, clean & with great views. The service at each resort or hotel was wonderful. We'd highly recommend PicTours of Greece for anyone looking to see any part of Greece, while enjoying a completely all inclusive vacation and truly relaxing while George takes care of all the details big & small.Show more

  Fantastic Tour. This was a granddaughter/ grandparent trip. With George's help we were able to set a personalized itinerary that was perfect for us. The hotels were all 5 star luxury hotels and the dining was superb. George drove us (he is an excellent driver) on some back roads and byways we never would have seen on a larger tour or by ourselves. Our guide ("Stevie") was knowledgable, responsive and fun. We concentrated on ancient Greece, but took time out for caving, bird watching, and swimming in the Aegean. Anything we wanted to do, George would accommodate us, and have a few suggestions of his own. Of course, the sites were incredible (Athens, Delphi, Delos, Namea, Mycenae etc.) If you want to experience Greece -any part of Greece - this is the way to go. Highly recommended without any reservations.Show more
