Just want to check on the itinerary it says on day 2 a change of stay for 2026 is staying night at Tetouan. But still has day two and three itinerary saying visits to Chefchaouen, so just want to check that the only difference is hotel accommodation stop at night and that we are still seeing Chefchaouen during day two and three??

I can confirm the 10.05.26 is guaranteed to operate and has availability. After breakfast at the hotel, we'll drive to the centre of Tetouan, where you'll have some free time to explore this charming northern city of Morocco. We will then continue to Chefchaouen, a scenic 1.5-hour drive away. Upon arrival, we will take an orientation walk through the old medina before giving you the afternoon free to explore the famous 'Blue City' at your own pace.

What kind of travel insurance is recommended? Is it optional?

A standard travel insurance is required for all our tours at Nomadic. If you are planning on doing anything like quad biking we would suggest getting additional cover when you take out your travel insurance.

Vegetarian food available? I and my sister are in our seventies. How strenuous is the trip?

We can cater for vegetarians on the tour and we do get people of all ages and quite a few in their seventies. This is a relatively easy tour so I am sure you will both be fine if fit and able. If there was anything you wanted to sit out of, just advise the guide.

Is it possible to add nights before & after the tour. Price?

Yes we absolutely can book pre & post accommodation when we book you onto the tour. These are normally at the 1st and last hotels on said tour. The 2025 price for a Single Room would be £89.00. You could book a twin but there would be a single person supplement.

Do you have tours only visit Casablanca, Tangier, Rahat, Chefchaouen, Fes and Meknes (avoid the high temperature in July). Please advise.

We have a private Northern tour which is 9 or 10 days long and you can choose a date for this. It goes to Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes, Chefchaouen, Tangier. There is no desert or camel trek on this tour. £1548 per person for the 10 day tour which would start in Marrakech but £1498 for the 9 days if you start in Casablanca.

Can I have information about the meal arrangements?

All meal details and options will be provided closer to your departure date and can also be found in your booking confirmation voucher.

I will be traveling with my adult grandson and will need separate rooms. What is the single supplement price for this trip?

The single supplement is £269 GBP each. The tour price is £1139 GBP each. Or you can share a twin room with separate beds and just pay the £1139 each.

How much extra total for single occupancy

The solo person price should include the single supplement. Generally, the tour price is £1139 and the single supplement is £269 so you are looking at £1408 unless Tour Radar have any of their own discounts. Also depending on what country you are in, you may see this converted into your local currency. You do not have to book a single supplement if you are happy to share with someone of the same gender.

How do I get from Marrakech to Casablanca airport after the tour?

You can take a 3-hour train journey to Casablanca, and this service allows you to see the beautiful Moroccan countryside.

What if I arrive after the tour has started?

You can still join the tour group who started their tour in Marrakech and catch up on any missed activities.

This was a very well paced, well planned tour. Our guide Younes, and driver Mohammad, were amazing. Super helpful at every step, knew a lot about each place we stayed, and were great at keeping the tour group together and moving and keeping track of everything. I liked the pacing, having a couple days in most places and stopping overnight to make sure we weren't doing too much driving at once. For the most part all the hotels were great, some of them had more spotty wifi than others but they were all clean and good amenities, breakfast always included (so many carbs!). The only one I might have wished was different was in Fes, where we were staying really far out from the town so there wasn't much we could do on our own in the evening. I would have liked to have a little time to explore on my own outside of the guided tour that took most of the one day we were there, but it was an hour walk to the hotel and I didn't want to deal with taking a taxi. Which also meant dinner was a little limited since there weren't many options by the hotel (I'm not visiting Morocco so I can go eat at McDonald's). But overall I really have no complaints, it was a great trip and I loved getting to explore a new country. Chefchaouen is beautiful, I enjoyed the pacing of Essaouira, wish there had been less cloud cover in the desert but it was still a cool experience. Booking a solo trip as part of a group tour can be risky, but I'm really glad it worked out in this case (even if I was probably the youngest in the group by about 15 years!)Show more

I would also like to know about the facilities at the desert camp and if there is a 4WD option to travel to see the sunset in lieu of the camel ride.

  At the camp, we do not use 4x4's so the minivan can get you to the tents and then you can opt to take the camel trek for 30 minutes. We then get off the camels and sit on the dunes for sunset then take the camels back for 30 mins. If you do not want to ride the camel, you can walk on the dunes. If you wish to book pre or post accommodation, a twin room for the 2 of you would cost £119 GBP including breakfast. When you book, please let us know if you wish to add at either end.

  A private tour means just for you 3 with a driver and guide so you are not joining a scheduled tour on a particular date with other strangers. If you would like to do our Morocco Northern Explorer Tour without the desert or camel trek, you can request a start date of your choice in August 2025 and all would share a triple/family room. The price would be the same for your child. £1548 per person for the 10 day tour or £1498 per person for the 9 day tour. The Hassan II Mosque is an additional cost paid locally but our guide will take you there and collect your tickets. You will go to the capital of Rabat towards the end of the tour.
