- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive at Coco Reef Resort in time for dinner, with ocean views from your table. The resort will be your base for the next 7 nights on a room-only basis. Breakfast and evening meals are available if you want them, so just ask about pricing when you book your stay.

Somerset Bridge to Royal Naval Dockyard
Start the day at Somerset Bridge, which happens to be the world's smallest drawbridge, then walk the Railway Trail past some unusual screw palm and cedar trees. You'll reach 19th century Fort Scaur where the views over Hamilton are really nice. After that, head into Somerset Village for lunch by Mangrove Bay, then follow the coastal track out to the Royal Naval Dockyard on Bermuda's western end. There's an option to visit Hamilton if you want. Later in the evening, Tim Rogers meets you at the hotel to go over what the rest of your walking week looks like.

St George to Ferry Reach
This day takes you to St George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you'll wander around colorful streets and the harbor area. From there, follow the coastal path lined with prickly pear and casuarina trees to Gates Bay, where Sir George Somers first landed back in 1609. The walk continues along a herb-scented track to Ferry Reach, where you'll see 17th century forts and a Corsican tower.

St David's to Cooper's Island
You'll start at St David's in the morning, where hibiscus scents fill the air, and check out Red Hole Bay. Continue on to St David's Battery for cliff views that stretch across the ocean. After that, head to Cooper's Island, which is Bermuda's newest nature reserve and a pretty isolated spot with minimal development.

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse to South Shore Trail
Begin at Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, where the balcony gives you views across the entire west end and the Great Sound with its white sailboats. From there, descend to the pink sands of the South Shore Trail, which connects nine different bays. You can swim at Chaplin Bay, then follow a shaded path past cassava fields back to the hotel, where you'll have time for a swim in the pool.

Flatts Village to Crystal Caves
The route follows the coast with colorful prickly poppies along the way toward Flatts Village, where locals fish in Harrington Sound, an inland lake dotted with sea grottoes. Continue with northern shore views to Blue Hole Park, a small area with caves and aquamarine waters. If you're interested, the Crystal Caves are nearby, and you can grab a Dark 'n' Stormy cocktail before catching the bus back to the hotel.

Paget Marsh to Spittal Pond
An allspice-scented trail takes you to Paget Marsh, a wetland where herons and warblers live, and you'll hear yellow kiskadees making quite a bit of noise. Move on to the Botanical Gardens, where John Lennon's Double Fantasy album was named after a purple flower he spotted there. End the day at Spittal Pond, walking along the vibrant coastal path past sea lavender while looking for herons, egrets, flamingos, and humpback whales in the Atlantic.

Departure
The British Airways flight leaves in the early evening, so you'll have most of the day to yourself. Use the time to relax or explore on your own before heading to the airport.
