    * Day 10 (Arrival Day): After your arrival and check-in, you will begin your initial exploration of the Angkor Complex in the afternoon, if time permits (such as visiting a prime spot like Phnom Bakheng for a breathtaking sunset over Angkor Wat).

    Please do not worry about the kayaking activity! Kayaking in Halong Bay is a completely optional service. You do not need to do it if you prefer not to, and you can flexibly decide once you are on board the cruise.
    
    If you choose to skip kayaking, you can comfortably relax on the boat deck, enjoy the scenic limestone views, or take a bamboo rowboat guided by a local villager instead.

  We're a family of four (2 adults and 2 children, aged 7 and 14) looking for a tailor-made holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia in April/May 2027. We've already received a quotation from a UK travel company, but at £17,212 it's unfortunately beyond our budget. We're looking for a similar style of holiday with boutique accommodation, authentic experiences and private transfers where appropriate. Our ideal itinerary is: Hanoi – 2 nights, Pu Luong – 2 nights (eco-lodge surrounded by rice terraces), Bai Tu Long Bay – 1-night boutique cruise, Phong Nha – 1 night (to experience the Ho Chi Minh Trail and visit the caves), Overnight sleeper train (private family cabin), Hoi An – 4 nights, Golden Bridge/Ba Na Hills day trip, Phu Quoc – 4 nights, Mekong Delta – 2 nights (eco-lodge if possible), Ho Chi Minh City – 1 night, Siem Reap – 3 nights (including Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm). We would like: Return flights from London, Boutique hotels with family rooms or connecting rooms where possible, Private transfers where appropriate, The key excursions included, such as the Bai Tu Long Bay cruise, Ho Chi Minh Trail experience, basket boat tour in Hoi An, Golden Bridge, Mekong Delta, and Angkor Wat.
