We are genuinely sorry to hear that you felt unsupported during the disruptions caused by the severe storm in the Aegean region. We would like to address the points you raised and clarify what happened from our side. First, regarding the storm and the accommodation issue. We completely understand your frustration. Last week's storm was an exceptional force majeure event that nobody could have predicted or controlled. All ferries were cancelled, and thousands of travelers were stranded on the islands. This created an unprecedented shortage of hotel rooms in Santorini, and finding availability was extremely difficult for everyone involved. Our team worked very hard to assist you and other affected customers. We successfully revised your itinerary, secured an available hotel room despite the extreme scarcity, and ensured you could depart for Heraklion one day later. We were glad to hear that everything ran smoothly after that adjustment. However, because the situation was entirely beyond our control, the additional accommodation cost could not be covered under our standard policy, which excludes weather-related disruptions. We understand this is disappointing, but we acted within the terms you agreed to when booking. Regarding communication, we hear your concern about phone calls versus WhatsApp or email. During the storm, our call volume increased dramatically due to the high number of affected travelers. We prioritized phone calls because they allowed us to resolve urgent, time-sensitive issues, such as finding a room on a fully booked island, more quickly. That said, we apologize if this made it difficult for you to reach us or if our response times were slower than usual. We are reviewing our communication protocols to serve customers better in future high-volume situations. Finally, we are concerned to hear that you did not receive a reply after the tour. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we would like to put it right. Please reply to this email with the best way to reach you, and a member of our team will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your claim further. We value your feedback and will use it to improve how we respond when things go wrong. We hope you will give us the opportunity to restore your trust. Hi Susan We are happy to hear that you appreciated our local guides on each sites as well as our hotels. And we are sorry to hear that our driver was not strong in English language. In our brochure it says when the number of travelers are under 8 no tour leader will be with the group but the driver will.
