  We were extremely disappointed with Julia Travel and Eskapas. The brochure says “ English speaking Tour Guide throughout the journey “ We had NO tour guide, we got: a Driver with limited understanding of English! Brochure also says “ Transportation in luxury coach equipped with modern technology, reclining seats, air conditioning, video service, music, public address system, trays for hand luggage. We got: a transport van, where we sat 3 across hip to hip, unable to see out the windows because seat backs were so high. One of the travelers had to sit up front with the driver, so on the city tours she was squeezed between our drive and the tour guide. We also had to constantly had to ask the driver to turn up the air conditioning because it didn’t reach the back. The local guides were good, the destination cities were great. The accommodations were as promised. I would NOT recommend this company for a tour of Spain. Find someone else. Susan BinghamShow more

In our brochure it says when the number of travelers are under 8 no tour leader will be with the group but the driver will.   Just got back from this tour group in Spain. And while the country was beautiful, I think the amount of money I paid for this trip was not worth it. When we arrived at the airport, our shuttle transfer dropped us off at the WRONG hotel! I had to call multiple numbers until someone could tell me where we were actually staying. The food we had as a group was not that good, and there wasn’t much accommodations for food allergies. Our tour guide, Marta, did her best to accommodate everyone. She was great. As I understand there was a lot of driving to get to different cities, I wish we had more time to explore the smaller ones. It felt very rushed and I didn’t understand why we couldn’t explore and eat lunch at some cities, rather than stopping at a rest stop for food every time we went to our next destination. I would’ve liked to have had lunch in Cordoba when we visited, instead I had Popeyes on the side of the freeway! The tour itself was disappointing, but the other people who were on it were lovely and made the experience much more enjoyable.Show more

  Overall the trip was wonderful. Our guide was very good and made everyone feel comfortable. All the city guides were excellent too. My only issues were: 1. Not being admitted to the Cathedral in Seville due to a special mass earlier in the day so when we arrived we were not allowed in (hopefully we get a refund?), 2. The catamaran cruise was disappointing and the time could have been put to better use by seeing more of the city and sights, 3. The Flamenco class was another waste of time. The Flamenco performance was not the traditional dance I was expecting thus underwhelming.Show more

  This tour was exceptional, and what really impressed me was the attention given to language learning throughout the trip. The guides made an effort to teach us key phrases in the local language, which helped us engage more with the culture and people around us. Even the drivers and hotel staff were happy to help us practice! It added a fun and educational dimension to the experience, making us feel more connected to the places we visited. I’ve never been on a tour that made language learning such an enjoyable part of the journey. Five stars, without a doubt! Show more

  This tour was outstanding, and one of the unique aspects I really appreciated was the attention to accessibility. As someone with mild mobility challenges, I was pleased to find that all activities were thoughtfully planned with easy access in mind. The guides were attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the trip. The transportation was spacious and easy to get in and out of, and many of the sites we visited were accessible without any issues. It made the whole experience much more enjoyable, and I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a worry-free, inclusive travel experience! Five stars!Show more
