Well organized, timely pick ups from the hotels, tour guides are very knowledgeable, timely communication with tour agency, hotels via WhatsApp and TourRadar message box. Tour itself was very interesting, informative, particularly for nature lovers. Monkeys, snakes, caimans, birds, iguanas, etc - all in proximity, however you are safe because the tour guide is with you. Tours are adjusted and conducted according to weather conditions, so you will not miss it. Thank you.

I really liked the support from Tour Radar, in preparing for the trip. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. I liked the first part of the tour to Pachira Lodge and Tortuguero, plus the last one, Isla Tortuga, where activities and all meals were included. But the it got pretty expensive in La Fortuna and Monte Verde, when only the hotel rooms and breakfasts were included. Without spending hundreds of dollars more on activities, one was stuck in the hotels, far from anywhere walkable. If activities can't be included, at least choose hotels close to the centre or attractions, so walking is possible.

Everything went smoothly, better than expected. The guides in the national parks were amazing- knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble.Using their telescope to spot and watch wildlife was a highlight. The itinerary was well balanced, from tropical dry forest and fumaroles to elevated cloud forest , mangroves and beaches. Seeing resplendent quetzals and sloths was a real thrill. It was an incredible trip. My only criticisms would be lack of information beforehand via the app. We did ask to add extra optional tours which would have required more time to sort out, but it would have been reassuring to have questions answered more fully via the messaging in the app. For example I didn’t know how we would be notified re pickups etc. A simple message re you will receive a detailed itinerary online would have helped. This was sent a few hours before we flew. We were met by the driver with a print out on landing. The other issue. Not enough time was allowed to transfer from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. We were late arriving and our tour guide for the park had left. It was only the help of the hotel reception making a call, that we he guide kindly returned for us.
