I had never traveled in a group before, and it was such a wonderful experience. I met really nice people. I appreciated that the lodgings and transportation were handled, allowing me to concentrate solely on exploring. In 3 weeks you visit 3 continents and it is amazing to change cultures, scenery and landscapes. We had many different guides in each cities. We have been directed by a tour director speaking English and Spanish. Fernando was very kind with every one. The bus was comfortable and inclining seats. Food was fair usually. Well there are also many negative issues to resolve by the company. We just ran in some cities such as Lisbon and Porto and changed a couple of time bus. It is some kind of hop on and hop off bus. The hotels were mediocre in Morocco so I recommend you to upgrade during your booking. Wi-Fi in the bus rarely worked. No wifi service in Morocco at all. Better to purchase a local SIM card. Overall I really liked this trip and I recommend.
- by Digant ShahEverything was very good except for Granada... that hotel was not good... they should change it. The guide Carmen and the driver Jaime very good, always attentive patients. A tour to remember in every way. Thank you again!

Trip was good but would prefer more central hotels even though they were nice hotel’s and more English speaking guide , although Carmen did well!

The tour guide was good and guided tours of city were very nice...however, we got the deluxe package and the food was awful. Inedible because it was horrible, not because of the type of food. We ordered the same things on our own and they were good. A lot of wasted time on bus tours where you couldn't see well. The worst thing was in Barcelona they brought us to a hotel a 45 minute car ride (at least 60 Euros) outside of the city and the tour ended there. We were given instructions at 2pm when it ended as to how to get back to our hotel by train. With two sets of seasoned travelers, we still made a small mistake and it took us two hours to get back.
- by Tara WoodThe group was too big and often felt chaotic and difficult to know when we were supposed to meet. Felt like a high risk of losing the guide in crowded areas so couldn’t relax. Food wasn’t great and tapas on first day was awful. Managed to change my flight and left the trip half way through.

The tour was probably the worst I’ve ever been on. Logistically it was crazy as lots of days in a bus for 5-8 hours. We were told there would be 10 on our tour but there was a group from South America with us for part of the tour and the tour directors mostly spoke in Spanish and little in English or any useful information given along the way There was not enough free time as we would travel all day and then arrive at hotel and had to go to dinner The tour director in Spain and Portugal was rude and abrupt and gave incorrect info The tour director in Morocco was helpful in one circumstance but another day turned us over to a tour director in Fez who just took us to stores where he probably got reimbursed for anything sold when we were ready to meet up with tour director discovered he was sleeping it was a waste of the day Most Hoteld were not located close to main city but in residential areas Hotel checkin was total chaos Some were old and moldy Costa del Sol hotels were good but on return promised a relaxing night and arrived later in time for dinner (this after a lengthy ride in bus all day) Food choices at most meals were awful - cold food was not kept cold and hot food not hot Two of the extra tour people in cities were good One bus was filthy and old but they did replace it Day on ferry to Morocco was a nightmare with instructions for filling out paperwork total chaos and person telling us what to do was rude Perhaps Wingbuddy could provide appropriate documents before travel and after arriving in Morocco we spent another long time driving to hotel Bus drivers were great and very helpful We did not receive itinerary until a few days before it would have been helpful to have earlier in order to decide what we wanted to do in each location We were to have transportation to airport on our return home but when we asked tour director about it she acted annoyed and didn’t know anything about it she did make a call and arrange it I think the Morocco part of trip could have been better - lots of driving and quick stop in Casablanca which was fine but seemed like a wasted day being on bus most of the day Too little time allowed for rest stops especially when on bus for 6-8 hours I don’t consider myself a demanding traveler and tours I’ve been on have been superior to this one It makes me sad to look back on the 22 days and have a lot of bad memories which could have been avoided with better organization and planning I will never travel with Wingbuddy again
- by LindaThe places on the tour were exceptional, but the tour guides and the details of the trip were not very organized. The instructions were not clear from the start even before the trip began. The guides did not seem very enthusiastic about being on the trip . For example, I did not even know my guides name after 13 days, he was very monotone when explaining various facts about locations we visited. He was very knowledgeable about the area, but his delivery was not impressive. The accommodations in the Canary Islands were great! It included 2 meals a day. A guide there to greet us and was friendly at first, but she stood us up the next day when we were supposed to meet in the hotel lobby. She left no word or no message. I felt it was very unprofessional. In Portugal, only one meal was included and we were left on our own to find some place to eat. Our hotel was located far from any decent restaurants and we had to walk up a lot of hills to get to the main area for food.( There is a lot of walking on this trip. If you have difficulties walking for long periods of time in the heat, this trip is not for you. ) We were left to defend for ourselves when arriving in Madrid, Spain at 11:30 PM on our return home. No one came to take us to our hotel as was stated in our itinerary. We had to scramble to call the hotel to get transportation. We are still not sure what the purpose was to stay the night in Madrid and get up at 4 AM to catch a flight to Amsterdam and then to the states. In the end, the people we met in our group on the trip made the trip very special. We would not recommend this company to our friends and family. They need to be more organized and clear about all arrangements before, during and after.

Spain was good. Pablo was a good guide & Bergonia was great, a very kind & compassionate guide. In Geneva we were on the bus & did not go to the United Nations as mentioned in the itenarary. Alvarez was very indifferent, lazy & the worst guide possible. He dumped me in another bus with a non- English speaking group without consulting me. In Chambery the hotel was quite old, dirty carpets & had a musty smell. We never made it to Lugano & Morcote as there was a traffic jam but the group in the other bus went to Lugano. Marina was a good guide but had a very strong accent, not easy to follow. In Rome Phillipe was the worst guide possible, most inconsiderate, he was almost running not walking & did not stop for a toilet break, it was an extremely hot day & another tour group was sitting in the shade taking a break. Gattiani, the guide who took over in Rome was as bad as Phillipe. They didn't count the passengers & left some behind. The guide in Venice was terrible. He conveniently didn't bring the earphones & we didn't visit the Basilica, even though we had admission & it was included in the itenarary. The Novotel hotel was disgusting, dirty carpets & almost falling apart. The hotel in Kitzbuhl, Innsbruck was very old, no elevators, had to carry bags up the stairs & breakfast was very limited, no hot food. The guide in Vienna was very impatient. She allowed us only 30 mins at each stop, as she had another tour lined up. Seriously! They took us to Schonbrunn Palace & dumped us in the city centre in the afternoon & the rest were taken to the hotel. The tour in Vienna didn't last a day, only half a day. I would like a refund asap for the places that I was supposed to visit according to the itenarary & didn't. I paid for a particular itenarary & Europmundo didn't deliver. Overall it was a very badly organised & disappointing tour.
- by Shirley CanagasabeyHorrible. We had to leave on the fifth day because we felt uncomfortable and unsafe with our terrible guide. And the company is being non-responsive despite our clear detailing of his unprofessional and disturbing behavior. Stay away from this tour company!

We were extremely disappointed with our recent tour of Spain. In 2019 we toured with Trafalgar to Peru and thought it was excellent. Our AAA travel agent indicated that an Insight tour would be a step above Trafalgar. It was certainly more expensive, but otherwise missed the mark entirely. We spent a lot of time on the bus traveling from one site to the next. This was all highway travel, so any views of the countryside were limited. Once we arrived at our destinations, there was very little free time for exploring the areas. Most of the time was taken up with a tour of a church via a local guide. The sites selected for the guided tours were over crowded because they were the standard tourist attractions. No thought was given to exploring out of the way authentic Spanish sites. While traveling by bus, we stopped for four days of the eight-day tour at what we would call “truck stops” for lunch. These were highway rest stops with cafeteria style restaurants. The food was consistently poor. How much time would have been lost to drive into a local city and dine there? Also, why was all the travel confined to a bus? Spain has high speed rail lines. A lot of time could have been saved if trains were used for the longer distances. Our travel Director kept reminding us that the tour was called “Highlights” of Spain – meaning that it was meant to be a quick trip in order to get them all in. This is not how we envisioned it. When we finally got to our last destination (Madrid) by 5 pm after riding all day on the bus, we had about an hour before returning to the bus to ride to dinner. The trip description shows 2 days in Madrid…we only had one. Our tour director, Kristy Power, told us not to expect the same quality of meat in Spain that we would get in our home countries. We have traveled to many other European countries and have not found this to be the case. She also pointed out the toilet on the bus, but asked that we not use it as a convenience – only if we really needed it because it could not accommodate use by everyone on board. On the last day of the tour, while on the bus, our tour director spent quite a bit of time explaining the trip review request that we would receive. She indicated that rating her with a score of 7 or 8 did not really mean it was good – that nothing but a 9 or 10 would reflect that. She then announced that she and the driver had received a raise this year and that this meant that the tips that we pre-paid would not cover the new tip rate. She told us she would be happy to help us calculate the additional tips owed. In addition, for those who did not pre-pay tips, she gave an amount per hour for tips that would be sufficient to incorporate the recent raise.

The tour was great from beginning to end. Of course, being a budget tour the accommodation was not in the centre of the city's visited, but it seriously didn't worry me at all. Fast-paced tour with optional experiences. Our Travel Director, Matt, was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable, witty, and patient. He made the tour very enjoyable.
- by Samantha ThomsonDon't take this tour. If you want to see Spain - majority of the excursion are dinner, which isn't worth the experience or money. You're better if eating at a fine dining at that price. We covered Barcelona for 50 minutes by a bus orientation. And only got to see sangria familia walking outside. The tour director told us we couldn't get onto the bus if we didn't buy excursion. This tour with walking orientation plus dinner.. means you have to buy it if you want to see a glimpse of the anything. But timing in certain places is too short. It's the worst tour I've been on. Choose another company for Spain and Portugal.

I enjoyed the amazing sites of Spain. The tour guides at each stop were informed and friendly. I found the overall tour guide a little hard to follow at times although she gave great tips at each stop. The bus was roomy although the seats seemed to not work in some cases.

I signed up for 3 days in Portugal 3 days in Spain and 3 days in Morocco. Without knowing it was 6 day in Spain and three in Morocco. Very disappointed ! It was very difficult with tipping as we had three tour leaders and many locals I’ve never had this happen in my 20 years of world wide travels . Never again
- by Linda AndersonWe were only shown one attraction out of each city and then were taken to a hotel far from the town center but told that there were other attractions to see but that we would be on our own. The hotels were far from the city centers and in areas where there wasn’t much to do. Patricia, the guide was very nice and Pedro, the bus driver was very nice also.

The tour operator company replied our questions before we booked, but they did not reply promptly after we booked the tour. No detailed tour information in advance so we couldn’t make our own plan ahead of time. The tour information was misleading.
- by Ayako UchinokuraThe tour is quite good but the selection of cities can be improved. We stayed couple of days in town that do not have many things to see and do.

- by rus HamiltonOur trip on the Camino De Santiago was great! And a good value too. Our Guide David did a wonderful job by providing details and pointing out unique features along the Camino. David was very responsive to individual requests for assistance with little problems that pop up. David was very knowledgeable about local foods and special dishes and very helpful to those with special dietary needs. Everyone in our group enjoyed their journey on the Camino. Thank you Tour Radar and Thank you David. John Outfleet

I do not understand why Trafalgar makes it impossible for solo travelers to join their tours. I was not able to join tour because they will put you "on request" status and then inform you there is no accommodation for you at the last minute. I noticed a review from another traveler with a similar instance. Other tour companies routinely allow solo travelers with a supplement charge. Adjust your supplement charge to match theirs if necessary, but behave like your competitors.
Due to a problem between Tourradar and Trafalgar, I almost did not have a spot on the the tour bus. I paid for my trip through Tourradar however, Trafalgar said they never received the info for me.

Lalo was fantastic!! He added so much to the trip. It would not have been as good as it was without him. He made us feel comfortable everywhere! He obtained local guides that were wonderful. THe accommodations were fine, except for the hotel in Madrid - Acta Medfor. In fact, I arrived a day early and paid for one day. Although I made my reservation two months early, they charged me 244 Euros for one night, which was outrageous as it was a much lower quality hotel. My buddy on the trip also did the same and she was only charged 130 euros. Can't figure it out but feel ripped-off. I should have stayed some place else but only stayed there for the convenience of joining the tour.
- by Beverly MillicanGreat itinerary and spectacular guide but the exclusive dependence on public transportation resulted in numerous instances of "hurry up and wait." The day trip to Toledo, for instance, involved waits of 30-45 minutes at the bus terminal in both directions. Other tours we've been on always had buses rented for such activities, the result being more time at the destination. Yes, I know that those tours were pricier, but for a once in a lifetime trip, a somewhat higher price tag would be palatable.
