It combines the cultural highlights, food experiences, and relaxed atmosphere of Laos with some of Thailand's most iconic destinations, while offering the comfort and pace of a Classic tour.

I'd like to book this tour for April 2027. We're a couple from Australia in our 50's.

This tour is a part of our 18-30somethings travel style, which is only available for travellers between the ages of 18 - 39 to book onto. Our other travel styles, such as Classic, Active, National Geographic Journeys, etc., do not have any age restrictions.

I'm a solo traveller. My age is 57, may I join this group even if I'm out of the age range? (18-39)?

This particular trip is part of G Adventures' "18-to-Thirtysomethings" travel style, which has a strict age range of 18–39. Unfortunately, this means it wouldn't be possible to join this specific departure. That said, we do have some excellent alternative options that offer a very similar experience in Laos, but without any age restrictions. These tours still include highlights such as Luang Prabang, Kuang Si Waterfalls, and Mekong River experiences, with a slightly more relaxed pace and a mixed group of like-minded travellers.

What happens if I do not complete the required forms on time?

If the required forms are not completed in time, you may not receive your travel vouchers and important pre-tour information.

The accommodation options include simple hotels for six nights, a guesthouse for one night, and a homestay for one night.

His compassion and caring personality made me feel part of the group and he also got involved in everything from bantering with us all and being our point of contact for anything re health money activities ideas and genuinely cared about safety from the first minute until I landed back home. I think any tour I will try to book through G adventures now, as the all round value and experience was great given it was so organised and we got to see a variety of things. I would ideally like to take PC wherever I go too but guess that’s not always going to be feasible!!!Show more
