Yes, you can leave the tour a day early. We can note it on the booking, so the Travel Director is also made aware. Please be advised though that you will still pay the full amount of the tour. You won't be refunded on the day or activities that you will miss on the tour.

If the requested tour date or room type isn't available, we'll notify you about the alternatives. You can choose to accept the available options or request a full refund if none are suitable.

What are the gratuity recommendations for the tour?

We chose Insight because we had traveled with them to Switzerland pre Covid an were impressed the tour - HOWEVER.Standards and inclusions have declined since then - e.g. "flourishes' are now a coffee or biscuit instead of pre Covid - entrance to the St Bernard dog breading facility. Hotels are no longer in the middle of the action and in some cases were not even on the town map (similar to Cosmos hotel locations). You had to negotiate a flight of steps to get into some hotels, and one we had to walk in a traffic lane to get into the bus. We will no longer travel with Insight as the value for the top price we paid for the tour is not worth it - choose Cosmos instead and save a motza!!Show more

  We understand your concern regarding the Santiago de Compostela program and the impression that there is limited included sightseeing. As for the itinerary, you may refer below for Day 4: 09:00 – Guests may choose to depart with a local guide to explore Santiago de Compostela and visit the Cathedral, or join the Leisurely Experience for a scenic walk along part of the Way of St. James. 09:30 – Entrance to the St. James Cathedral is included. (There is also the possibility to join the optional excursion in the morning and still enjoy the included city trip in the afternoon.) 11:30 – Return to the hotel. 12:00 – Departure for the Optional Experience: Rias Baixas. Evening – Free time to explore at leisure. Please note that the times listed are approximate; the Travel Director will share the precise itinerary while on tour.
