  Alot of territory was coveref in a short time. I wish we could have stayed a day or 2 longer in some of the citities...

  This was a very good tour for people like us who wanted to see a range of territory (much of Great Britain) that we had never seen before in a fairly short period of time (two weeks). Several said now they know which places they want to come back to. It was not too exhausting for "old people "(us), plenty of time to rest on the coach as we saw for the first time beautiful areas of English and Scottish countryside, spritely walks around towns and cities. Very professional tour leader and coach driver. Tour leader spoke clearly, shared interesting history details in a very clear and sometimes humorous manner.Show more

  good, some meals were poor, excursions too expensive for what they were, rooms not aired out and were hot and stuffy...
  good, some meals were poor, excursions too expensive for what they were, rooms not aired out and were hot and stuffy when arrived, some of the hotels kept turning off the air conditioning even when the rooms were too hot to sleep, ie were 24 degrees at night, all hotels should know the ideal temperatures to sallow sleep, When we complained they tried to fob you off by saying the air con was not working, when the truth wa they controlled it by a timer and were turning it offShow more

  I thought I had completed this already, but apparently not, The trip was great. We saw a great deal of Britain and Scotland, not just the typical touristy things, although we saw those, too. A highlight was in the Highlands of Scotland where we watched a sheepherding demonstration by shepherd Neal and his amazing border collies. Rose was a great tour guide. She was full of energy and information and kept us entertained and informed for the whole trip. She used little presentations to make our time on the bus more enjoyable. The driver, Simon, was so kind and was a fantastic driver. He maneuvered our bus into some incredibly tight spots without a scratch. The local tour guides in London, Liverpool, Scotland and Wales were very good, and knowledgeable as well. We enjoyed sampling traditional British and Scottish fare, with a stop at Ghillie Du where we enjoyed singing, dancing and bagpipes.Show more

  The entire tour was fabulous from our tour guide, Jason Healan to our driver, Steph. We covered so much territory with lots of history and guidance given to us, yet a lot of time to explore on our own. I always felt safe and informed as to what we were going to do. The whole trip was nothing but professional as well as a fun time meeting and bonding with new friends from 5 different continents. I highly recommend a trip like this and especially with Trafalgar, a very professional company.Show more
