We do not offer transport back to Hungary. This will have to be arranged independently. We can request a single room for you at an additional charge of 659 Euros. Single room accommodations in European hotels are often smaller, and may not be to the same service level as double-occupancy rooms.

Do the accommodations for this tour have air conditioning given this very hot time of the year?

Most accommodation in Europe does not have air conditioning units in rooms. Air conditioning is not routinely installed in European homes and workplaces. However, nearly all hotels will provide a standing or desk fan for your room on hot nights.

In comparison with other European tours, this was poor, partly for the quality of the hotels and partly for the itinerary. All hotels were poor, but some were terrible: no lifts, dirty, stained carpets, rotting doors in one hotel bathroom, with broken mirrors and a stench of damp. The itinerary was very limited. In an area of Romania famed for salt mines, we didn't visit one. An excellent tour group - Europamundo - offers about three times the number of attractions in this area offered by GAdventures - and at a lesser cost. At a price of $330 Australian per day, this tour was a complete ripoff. The tour guide, Andrei, was very good, and this was the only positive aspect of the tour. I would like the company directors of GAdventures to try out the sub-standard accommodation and limited itinerary they offer to participants. This tour was worth less than half of what I paid for it.Show more
