In terms of group dynamics, I generally prefer tours with a younger group atmosphere, typically up to around 45 years of age. I'm 41 years old myself but very young at heart — I'm often mistaken for being around 28 — and I enjoy active, youthful group settings. Therefore, I'd also like to ask whether tours with an upper age limit of 39 might still be an option for me.

We are unable to offer trips that are restricted to Ages 18-39 as it's important for us as a company to manage traveller's expectations. Let us offer the following options that may be suitable: Sri Lanka Express (8 days), Sri Lanka Encompassed (14 days).

  Because of the heavy rains and flooding at the end of 2025, the train may not be operating but we do usually use the train from Kandy. It may be 4-5 months until the train is fully operating again, so it could not be on this trip's itinerary if booked before then.
