  I would recommend this tour to anyone for a true taste of Scotland. The length and breadth of the tour was perfect, Kate was an amazing, thoughtful, entertaining and informative guide, Ian the driver was a wonder to behold and Bern, our well-being co-ordinator was an absolute gem. These 3 made the trip so memorable. We were taken to well known sites (and some not so well known also!), islands and around most of Scotland, which was breathtaking. It’s a great tour and I’d do it again. It was so enjoyable and engaging. It took the headache out of planning and traveling and as a solo traveller, this tour was such a gift.   Rose is an exceptional tour guide. She is well-organized, energetic, and strives to ensure that everyone in her group is having a good time. From the beginning to the end our trip, she made sure that we were informed with the daily itinerary and even had the next day planned out. She even sent before and after trip information. There is nothing else that she could have done to make the trip better. She had samples of the local candy, gave us maps to track our route, played the local music as well as our favorite songs as we journeyed along. She is hands-down the best travel guide. Her upbeat personality and always welcoming and smiling face added so much more to the enjoyment of our tour of Scotland. It was an absolute pleasure to spend almost two weeks with her as she led us on an unforgettable adventure.Show more

  Rose Brown is an excellent Ambassador for Trafalgar and the countries of her tours. She is knowledgeable of the history of the areas and the names of some of the most difficult to pronounce cities on the tour. Her articulate descriptions and story telling make the coach ride pleasant. On one occasion when our hotel was changed she rearranged our site schedule so that we would not have to retrace our time on the coach, this saved us over 2.5 hours of riding. I would request Rose on future Trafalgar tours if she is available.Show more

When our day’s trip to the Orkney Islands was cancelled due to high winds, she expertly made new plans in an area without many places to tour. She was flexible and very hospitable.
