      We are interested in the following and wondered if the time allotted in Lourdes will allow us to visit any of the following: Grotto of Massabielle: The place where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to Bernadette. Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (Upper Basilica): A grand basilica built to honor the apparitions. Basilica of the Rosary (Lower Basilica): Another major basilica within the sanctuary. Basilica of St. Pius X (Underground Basilica): A large underground basilica that can accommodate a large number of people.
