The guide and driver, Alyssa and Antonio ( I think that was his name?) were wonderful. Alyssa was warm, welcoming and so knowledgeable. It seemed very rushed but I think the heat contributed to that and Alyssa managed that as best as she could. One of the hotels, in Verona had tiny bathrooms, very hard beds and no tea or coffee facilities. Otherwise, everything was good. It would have been better to include the cost of some of the optional experiences in the overall cost of the tour. Being Australian, I am not used to tipping so I was a bit surprised by the suggested amount although there was no pressure from Alyssa. Thankyou. I will be recommending to others.Show more

I booked the 7 day Italian Holiday Trafalgar Tour for April 2025. I paid an extra $249 for the travel insurance in case of interruptions. Day one was supposed to be a tour of Rome, but the Pope’s funeral occurred and all sites/museums were closed. The following day we moved on to Venice. I filed a claim with Trafalgar Aon Affinity insurance for a 1/7 refund ($311) for that lost day. The claim was denied. Greedy management, don’t recommend Trafalgar.Show more

Although the tour was a great experience, it was full on (because I opted to do the optional additional experiences) but it was well organised and Paolo was an excellent tour director, nothing was ever too much trouble, from answering questions to the need to repeat the instructions/meeting times etc, several times to ensure everyone knew what was happening. I thoroughly enjoyed the 7-Day Italian Holiday Tour which exceeded my expectations. I now know which regions of Italy I would come back to spend more time based on the valuable information and experiences I gained on the tour. One of the highlights for me (there were a few) was the 'Be My Guest' dinner at a beautiful local family owned villa up in the Tuscany hills, it was an absolutely fabulous setting and Gioda was the perfect host (and cook)!! Perfecto!! I would definitely recommend to anyone to take a tour with Trafalgar, you won't have to worry about a thing! Grazie.Show more

He provided so much valuable information, even while riding between cities. Of course we could have spent more time in each of the cities, especially Florence, but it is a great overview for people who haven’t been to Italy before.Show more

  Technically on day 6, guests already arrived in Rome at approximately 16:45 and they will have farewell dinner in hotel at around 19:00. Then on day 7 (last day) there will be a complimentary transfer that will drop them off at the airport at approximately 07:00 and 09:30. This complimentary transfer will be given at a condition. The Gondola Ride is once of the optional experiences offered during the tour. All of the optional experiences will be offered to you by your Travel Director at the beginning of your trip. Our optional experiences cannot be pre-booked. Some may be subject to change, depending on the time you are traveling or local circumstances including weather and days of the week. Further information will be provided by your Travel Director. On pre-accommodation, the standard bedding arrangement for a twin room is two single beds.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Trafalgar. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Trafalgar will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Trafalgar" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
