Loved the tour a great "taste" of a beautiful island with many facets and we had the opportunity to "taste" many. Eirikur was a fount of knowledge and because we were a group of 6 we had time for a some additional sites not part of the normal tour. Eirikur picked up on our various interests and added information and additional stops for all to enjoy. Age range was 17 (my granddaughter) to 75+ and the group enjoyed the variety of questions about Iceland and our own cultures (Australia, Singapore, USA) - great memories of a special tourShow more

The trip was well organized with the basic sights, time etc. I really liked that the bus was large enough to allow the 27 persons to be able to spread out and enjoy window space to see the sites and have individual private space. Our hotels were fine but we were changed one day to an inferior hotel located in another town which was not okay. Our bus driver was great. Our guide was very informative, but kind of difficult to understand at times. He did not make any attempt to learn about the guests on the trip, etc. and was not very helpful when someone was injured - so I would say he did his job, but little more. We weren't able to try to take a boat out on the glacier lake as he inquired too late and never asked us in advance to plan. The tour group enjoyed each other and the tour was very successful I think for most all of us.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with On The Go Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
