I was with Stanley and his crew six days on the Rongai route. As a woman alone on this trip it was an great experience to trust this competent, friendly and experienced team. Stanley and Remmy took care of me in every situation, checked health carefully and felt responsible for my well-being at any time. Great food, perfect organisation and always good mood. I recommend 100%

Standley, his team and Viva Africa really went over and beyond to make us feel safe, comfortable and well-fed during this once in a lifetime trek up Kilimanjaro. I loved the Rongai route not only because it's a little less trodden, but also because it is a campaign route and has one night's sleep at the foot of the impressive Mawenzi Peak. Even when one of the guests started feeling altitude sickness, Stanley and the other guides kept their cool and fulfilled on their promise to get all of us standing at the top with a smile on our faces. A word of advice to anyone attempting the climb, treat yourself to a day at the pool after and thank me for it later ;)

Great experience and an easy company to deal with. All pre-departure questions were quickly and professionally addressed. Company representative (Florence) welcomed us on day of arrival and was there to welcome us back down after reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro.
