What time does the tour start in Dublin?

Our tour on the 29th of March is fully booked, however we do have space on the 22nd of March at the moment. If you are interested in the 22nd of March, I can offer you a discount of €300 off per person.

I'm an amateur nature photographer. I also want to spend a day in the area of Cloonbanniv, County Galway, for ancestral reasons. Based on your itinerary map, it would be a side trip. I'd be alone. I don't drink or smoke, so no pubs or breweries. I'm on Social Security, so prices are important. I'm an outdoor person and 84 years old but physically competent.

The Great Atlantic Tour final day is at Croagh Patrick, Westport. Co Mayo, so will go straight back to Dublin the following day. We can request a drop off as close as possible to Cloonbanniv however this will depend on the drivers route on the day. We also have availability on our shorter tour, The Spectacular on the 17th of May. This tour finishes in Galway and will include a bus back to Dublin, however you could get off the bus at Ballinasloe and make your own way to Cloonbanniv, outside Ahasgragh, Co. Galway. Currently we still have two places available. Cost €2154.00 including sole occupancy supplement which guarantees your ensuite bedroom.

Breakfast is included each morning on this tour. The tour would start at 8am on the first day from Dublin and will return back to Dublin between 5-7pm the following Saturday.

We are interested in more information on a tour that will include going to County Cork. We love food and nice hotels/bed and breakfasts!

Most of our tours do visit County Cork. We also have active tours and tours that are more relaxed, so our active tours would have some hiking, biking and kayaking while the more relaxed tours have shorter walks sometimes the option of biking and do not have kayaking. What is your preference?

Not included in the Great Atlantic Tour are: lunches, dinners and you gratuity to your guide, so all accommodations, Irish local guides, activities and experiences. Trip insurance can be purchased through Tourradar. Deposit is euro 300 per person with the balance due 60 days prior to your departure. Accommodations: Kinsale: Blindgate House, Galway: Hyde Hotel, Westport: Wyatt Hotel, Doolin: Doolin Inn Country House, Dingle: Dingle Marina Lodge. All of our accommodations received excellent feedback from previous guests and are all centrally located within the little towns and villages we stay in so within easy walking distance to restaurants and pubs.

Our tours run from 5 to 11 days and offer a great balance of activities and downtime, so you can choose the trip that's just right for you and your group.

Could you please let us know if it's possible to add a pre-accommodation night for the traveler to the quote for this tour?

Unfortunately, we do not provide pre or post tour accommodation. I can however send you through some recommendations. The Ashling hotel is always a great option as it is our meeting and departure point for our tour on day one. An added bonus with the Ashling hotel is if you mention that you are travelling with Overland Ireland, you will be offered their best available rates for your chosen nights. Their breakfast starts really early as well which is great for your 08.00 tour departure. If you'd prefer something more central, I'd recommend The Alex, The Morgan, The Green or The Castle Hotel, all great choices in the heart of the city. If you have points with the Hilton, Hilton Gardens is a great option as well.

I had an absolute blast on my trip to Ireland! I booked the 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Tour and it was such an incredible experience. Our tour guide Mark was very knowledgeable, answered every question and had. great sense of humour. He was filled with amazing stories and fun facts about every place we went to. It's so much fun that with Overland Ireland all activities are included, it creates a great bond with our follow people on board. The group was really nice and everyone got on perfectly. This tour took us to places I never would have found planning a trip on my own. Lots of locations we went to were void of tourists and made you really feel like you were experiencing real Ireland and not just hitting the hot spots. We went on some beautiful hikes where we felt like the only ones there. I honestly loved not having to plan a thing for this trip and getting so much more value from it than if doing it solo. We hit every spot on time but I never felt like we were being rushed from place to place. We got to see so much while still at a relaxed pace. The accommodations were great and always in great locations within easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants. If I ever get the chance to come back to Ireland, I will definitely take another one of these tours and will spread the word. There was a break of communication between TourRadar and Overland Ireland Tours. My booking confirmation was not sent to the tour company, so I was not on their list and no hotel reservations were made for me. I have to give Overland Ireland 5 stars on how they handle the miscommunication and were able to accomodate me even though I had to stay in a separate hotel (without my group) in one of the locations. Furthermore, I had sent some questions to "my tour operator" and turn out the responses I received were not accurate at all...provided by Tour Radar instead of Overland Ireland!!!Show more

  Unfortunately, we do not provide pre or post tour accommodation. I can however send you through some recommendations. The Ashling hotel is always a great option as it is our meeting and departure point for our tour on day one. An added bonus with the Ashling hotel is if you mention that you are travelling with Overland Ireland, you will be offered their best available rates for your chosen nights. Their breakfast starts really early as well which is great for your 08.00 tour departure. If you'd prefer something more central, I'd recommend The Alex, The Morgan, The Green or The Castle Hotel, all great choices in the heart of the city. If you have points with the Hilton, Hilton Gardens is a great option as well.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of $350 is required to confirm your booking with Overland - Small Group Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Overland - Small Group Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Overland - Small Group Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
