Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz Island
You'll land at Baltra Airport and get a pickup for the drive to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Your contact person will fill you in on what's coming up and suggest local spots for food and activities. After that, the afternoon is open for whatever interests you—there's the dry tropical forest walk out to Tortuga Bay, the Charles Darwin Station if you want to learn about what they're doing with conservation, or you can rent a bike and pedal up into the highlands.

Santa Cruz Island - Day Tour
Early morning departure for an island day tour, heading to Santa Fé, Plazas, Bartolomé, or North Seymour depending on what's available that day. You'll hit two snorkel spots where sea lions, tropical reef fish, turtles, rays, and reef sharks show up regularly. The land part of the trip might have you spotting land iguanas, Galápagos hawks, finches, and other wildlife found nowhere else. Lunch happens on the boat, and you'll get some time on Playa Escondida before heading back to port.

Santa Cruz Island to San Cristobal Island
Use your morning to check out anything on Santa Cruz you didn't get to on day one. By afternoon, head to the harbour for the 14:00 ferry to San Cristobal Island. You'll dock around 16:00 to 16:30, then get picked up and taken to your place. Your contact will give you details about what San Cristobal has planned, and you'll have the rest of the evening free to walk along the waterfront watching sea lions or relax on one of the nearby beaches.

San Cristobal Island - Day Tour
Full day tour to either Isla Lobos or Kicker Rock, depending on what's available. If it's Isla Lobos, you'll walk around spotting sea lion groups, blue-footed boobies, frigates, and other seabirds, then snorkel in the turquoise Canal Lobos with sea lions and tropical fish all around. Kicker Rock means snorkeling around that distinctive rock formation where sharks, sea turtles, and rays hang out. Both options include a box lunch on the beach and get you back by 16:00.

Take the morning easy before you leave. A pickup will come get you 1.5 hours before your flight time and take you to San Cristobal Airport. Safe trip home.
