Siem Reap
You'll land at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport and head to your hotel to get settled. Once you drop your bags, it's time to see Angkor Wat, the massive temple complex from the early 12th century. Stick around until evening and climb Bakheng Mountain for sunset views across the landscape. If you're interested, there's an optional welcome buffet dinner in the evening with traditional dance performance, though that part is up to you.

Grab breakfast, then buy your Angkor pass before exploring Angkor Thom, a sprawling 12th-century royal city. You'll walk through Bayon temple (known for those distinctive carved stone faces), the Terrace of Elephants, the Royal Palace ruins, and several other temples like Phimeanakas and Baphoun. Later in the day, head to Ta Prohm where trees have taken over the structures, followed by Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang. Finish at Pre Rub Temple for sunset over rice fields. The evening is yours to explore Pub Street or wander around the night markets.
