Ushuaia
You'll arrive in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, with your transfer already arranged. After settling into your hotel, take time to walk around town and get a feel for this remote location. The welcome desk in your hotel lobby will have all the information you need about the expedition ahead.

- Day 2
Ushuaia to Drake Passage
The morning is yours to do as you like in Ushuaia. Shop around town, wander the streets, or head out to the surrounding countryside if you prefer. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Ushuaia port to board the expedition ship. That evening you'll sail through the Beagle Channel, and your Antarctic adventure officially kicks off.

Drake Passage to South Shetland Islands
You're spending two days crossing the Drake Passage, that 1000km stretch of water named after Sir Francis Drake back in the 16th century. From the deck, you'll watch for icebergs, whales, and albatross passing by. The expedition team runs daily lectures and educational sessions, and you'll have time to get familiar with the ship's lounge, dining hall, library, and lecture hall.

Landmarks Drake Passage South Shetland Islands 
- Days 5 - 8
South Shetland Islands to Antarctic Peninsula
Over the next four days, you'll explore the Antarctic Peninsula with up to two zodiac shore landings each day, weather permitting. You'll see penguin colonies, seals, and whales as you navigate through the Bransfield Strait. Daily schedules shift based on what the weather and ice conditions are doing, and lecturers share the region's exploration history throughout.

- Days 9 - 10
Antarctic Peninsula to Ushuaia
The ship heads back north across the Drake Passage toward Ushuaia. You'll spend time reviewing what you saw in Antarctica with the lecturers and crew, and you can keep watch from the observation deck for whales. Between bird and whale watching sessions, there are final lectures, and you'll have space to relax and think back on the whole experience.

Landmarks Drake Passage - Day 11
Ushuaia
After breakfast, you'll disembark the ship. A complimentary transfer takes you to either Ushuaia airport or a luggage storage spot in the city. If you have a morning flight, your transfer goes straight to the airport. Otherwise, you can drop your bags and spend the afternoon exploring before heading to the airport later.
