Asked on November 16th, 2025Are personal beds guaranteed in the shared room?
G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2025Our tours are based on twin share rooming (separate beds). Let us know if you/someone would be happy sharing with another solo traveller of the same gender on the tour free of charge OR if you would prefer to add the "My Own Room" single supplement, we can do so for an additional charge.

Asked on November 14th, 2025Can you please tell what time the flight from Cambodia to Bangkok is at the end of this tour on April 24th?
G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2025The flight services are purchased closer to the tour time and arrival times vary depending on availability. The past main flights purchased arrive into Bangkok (DMK) at 1pm.

Asked on October 15th, 2025Would like to know if the hotels mentioned in the description are guaranteed, or at least if we will be accommodated in hotels of the same category?
G AdventuresOperator•Written October 2025The hotels listed are subject to change, though usually don't, and in the event that we must make changes to these hotels, we would be booking an alternative in the same service level, so the accommodations listed will, at the very least, give you an idea of what to expect.

Traveler•Written July 2025We are looking to visit elephant sanctuary but only one that focus on conservation and welfare. Is that something we could add before or after or book/arrange on a day where there is free time?
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025If you wanted to visit an elephant sanctuary, you would need to independently research and plan for it. Whether that would occur before, during free time, or after the tour with us will be based on your provider and availability findings.

Asked on July 20th, 2025Do you have this tour on any date around october when the travellers might be in an older range. I am 60+
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025Ages do vary but the departure on 25th October for example, has travellers born in the 1950s and 1960s. This does only have one space remaining.

Asked on July 14th, 2025During the tour do you know of an elephant santuary that will be near by any of the stops when we have free time?
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025There is definitely one in Chiang Mai and you could visit whilst you are there during any free time. Please speak to the hotel in Chiang Mai or the guide and they will be able to advise you of a good, ethical sanctuary as there are many places that do not treat them well.

Asked on May 6th, 2025Would we be able to attend the Yi Peng Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai? Would be in the city during the dates of that.

Traveler•Written May 2025What is the average age for people on this tour? Know it states a wide range of ages but just wondered if it tends to be mostly people in their 30s, or their 70s, etc.
G AdventuresOperator•Written May 2025Day 3 of the November 3 departure would be November 5 and you would have free time in Chiang Mai on this day. You can attend the festival during the free time if this is something you wish to do. The tour leader known as your Chief Experience Officer would be able to help you arrange this once you are on the tour.
G AdventuresOperator•Written May 2025For the Nov 3 departure there are currently only 3 other travellers booked. Generally, we do get people of all ages on this tour.

Asked on April 27th, 2025Can some sort of elephant sanctuary be added for a day excursion? We are currently looking at the southeast asia tour. Our dates can be optional, but would like to be in the February to March 2026.
G AdventuresOperator•Written April 2025There are still many elephant sanctuaries in Thailand that are unethical. We do not include elephant sanctuaries due to our animal welfare policy. If you would like to visit a sanctuary during your free day, you can do that independently, but we cannot help arrange it. Please do thorough research before visiting as many places claim to be sanctuaries but are not.

Asked on March 11th, 2025Is there a possibility to have a single room throughout the tour? How much would the peice be? Even with a single room, would I be in Vietnam in rooms without windows as you mentioned? Is there a way to be in a room with windows?
G AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025Yes, we can offer a single room on this tour for 809.00 EUR additional. Please note that if you have booked the 'My Own Room' option for this tour, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Nights 2 & 15 (overnight train); Night 9 (homestay); Night 14 (overnight boat). A variety of styles of hotels/guest houses are used on this trip. In many instances they might not be like what you are used to back home as service and efficiency can vary. In some areas we stay in simple local guest houses in stunning locations - rooms are small and simple and there may only be shared toilet facilities and showers. No guarantee that we can offer a room with a window in Vietnam, but we can request this for you. It will all depend on the facility that we use.
