They are the same tour and will run together the encompassed tour has 1 extra day and includes the flight back to Bangkok. Some travellers prefer to stay in Siem Reap longer on their own which is why we have the 2 options.

Are personal beds guaranteed in the shared room?

Can you please tell what time the flight from Cambodia to Bangkok is at the end of this tour on April 24th?

The flight services are purchased closer to the tour time and arrival times vary depending on availability. The past main flights purchased arrive into Bangkok (DMK) at 1pm.

Would like to know if the hotels mentioned in the description are guaranteed, or at least if we will be accommodated in hotels of the same category?

The hotels listed are subject to change, though usually don't, and in the event that we must make changes to these hotels, we would be booking an alternative in the same service level, so the accommodations listed will, at the very least, give you an idea of what to expect.

Why is th discount not there when we go to book?

All internal transportation, including the internal flights on this tour are included, only the International flights are not - these would be your responsibility to arrange.

Do you have this tour on any date around october when the travellers might be in an older range. I am 60+

Ages do vary but the departure on 25th October for example, has travellers born in the 1950s and 1960s. This does only have one space remaining.

During the tour do you know of an elephant santuary that will be near by any of the stops when we have free time?

There is definitely one in Chiang Mai and you could visit whilst you are there during any free time. Please speak to the hotel in Chiang Mai or the guide and they will be able to advise you of a good, ethical sanctuary as there are many places that do not treat them well.

Would we be able to attend the Yi Peng Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai? Would be in the city during the dates of that.

What is the average age for people on this tour? Know it states a wide range of ages but just wondered if it tends to be mostly people in their 30s, or their 70s, etc.

Just got back from the 29-day Southeast Asia Encompassed tour and loved it! I went solo and my group was amazing! We saw and learned so much. My guide for most of the trip was Ammy and for the Cambodia section, we had Sam. Both CEOs were amazing and so personable and knowledgeable. They really enhanced the whole experience. This trip was jamb-packed full and go go go, but so worth it. Loved every day, except maybe the home stay night in Laos! That night was freezing and “rustic” with the toilet being down a ladder, outside, and around a building, but it was a bonding experience for us all! Otherwise, our accommodations were great, the itinerary was fantastic, and all vans and buses had a/c! Thank you for an awesome and unforgettable adventure!!Show more

  As this is a Classic style trip, it it open to all ages from 12, depending on a date it does vary where some dates lean more to an older demographic, and other dates can be either younger or mixed.
  
  The average weather during end March to April is very hot and humid and temperatures average 30 degrees celcius to almost 40 degrees.
  
  For visa's it would depend if you get a visa on arrival or a visa, those can take up to 2 weeks to receive. For Thailand most nationalities do not need a visa for Thailand for stays of 30 days or less but if you do they are available on arrival at Bangkok Airport. If staying in Thailand for more than 30 days, you will be required to obtain a tourist visa in advance. Only 15 day tourist visas are issued when entering Thailand overland.
  
  Vietnam: If you require a visa for Vietnam, they need to be arranged ahead of time (BEFORE your trip) as the processing time varies (minimum 2 weeks) and they are not available upon arrival.
  
  Laos: If you are eligible to apply for a Laos E-Visa you can apply online here
  
  Cambodia: Visas can be obtained in advance from your local embassy or on arrival in Bangkok (if your tour begins in Thailand). You will need at least one full working day to arrange this. You can also obtain your visa at the Cambodian border or Siem Reap Airport for approx. $30 USD. Please have *at least* 2 passport photos with you as well.

  There is definitely one in Chiang Mai and you could visit whilst you are there during any free time. Please speak to the hotel in Chiang Mai or the guide and they will be able to advise you of a good, ethical sanctuary as there are many places that do not treat them well.

  What is the average age for people on this tour? Know it states a wide range of ages but just wondered if it tends to be mostly people in their 30s, or their 70s, etc.

  Day 3 of the November 3 departure would be November 5 and you would have free time in Chiang Mai on this day. You can attend the festival during the free time if this is something you wish to do. The tour leader known as your Chief Experience Officer would be able to help you arrange this once you are on the tour.

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
