Unfortunately, triple room accommodation on this tour is only permitted when adults are travelling with a minor (under 12 years of age), in line with G Adventures' accommodation policies. As this tour is designed primarily around twin-share or single accommodation, triple rooms are not available for adult-only bookings.

    Would Walvis Bay be considered near there to see the dunes overlooking the ocean?

      Walvis Bay does have sand dunes which reach the ocean as well as Swakopmund. Here you can do some optional activities to explore this coastal desert landscape. Swakopmund and Walvis Bay are both along the Skeleton Coast they are just not in the National Park but are part of the long coast line of the Skeleton Coast.

      There are 4 nights Participation Camping and for your camping nights you will need to provide your own sleeping bag and pillow. Tents are twin with shared ablutions. All camping equipment (with the exception of your sleeping bag and pillow) is supplied. We supply dome tents and assembly/disassembly takes only 5 minutes where required. All tents have built-in insect nets. Tents are twin with shared ablutions.

      It is advised to bring a first-aid kit, which should contain items such as lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen, a whistle, aspirin, ibuprofen, bandaids, tape, anti-histamines, antibacterial gel or wipes, antiseptic cream, medication for mild cases of diarrhea, rehydration powder, water purification tablets or drops, insect repellent, a sewing kit, and any extra prescription drugs you may be taking.
