We loved Brandon (Brendon), our driver/guide. The first B&B we stayed at, in Galway, lacked a common area (lounge) were we could sit and talk with friends. Even outside, they only had 2 chairs by the greenhouse. Otherwise, it was ok but we probably wouldn't choose it again. The second B&B, in Killarney, was great! The owner was very nice and helpful. Room was very nice. Common area (lounge) very roomy and pleasant. It would have been nice to have some time in Killarney and Galway to explore the towns while things were open, although I know the itinerary didn't allow any extra time for that.Show more

The Itinerary and guide for my Southern Ireland trip was quite good. I enjoyed the trip very much and would recommend it to anyone. Brandon, our guide, was very helpful, full of information and historic facts about the area. One of the B&Bs, the one we stayed at only one night, was a little less than I expected - it was too far from the City Center and was very basic. In our group there were a total of 10 people - three groups - 2 groups of 4 people and 1 group of 2 people. One of the groups of 4 people stayed at different locations than the rest of us, which made the collecting folks and dropping them off a little tedious. I would have preferred to have the entire group stay at the same place so we could get to know each other a little better. In all, the tour was good.Show more
