The guide was excellent, the hotels were clean, comfortable, and the hotel staff were overall helpful and friendly. More attention should be given to the varieties of vegetarian food in the selection of restaurants for the group. After more than 20 km a day, salads as a dinner is not enough. Moreover, if you organize a sea food tasting, have an option for vegetarians or people who are allergic to sea food. I just left the group at this point and walked by myself because I was not going to sit and watch people eat while I have no food options. Again, salad is not a substitute for what the other group members had. Also, the farewell dinner was heavily based on meat dishes. As a vegetarian, I only had salad and one tapas. In future trips before signing up, I will inquire about the food options for vegetarians before I join Interpid trips.Show more

Great trip, interesting places to visit. Have gained so much insight into the history of the region. Nice group of 7 people and an awesome tour leader. It was a very active trip, with lots of walking….not for the faint hearted! As you have to carry your luggage up and down a lots of stairs at train stations and hotels without lifts, you need to be able to lift and carry it yourself. Travel light! Food was good, there was plenty of time to do our own wandering ( and laundry) etc Two or 3 nights in most hotels was very good.Would definitely recommend an Intrepid holiday to anyone who wants to be on the move, learn about the places you are in and see a few places off the beaten path!Show more

For tours departing after November 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
