Egypt was amazing and we had the most amazing tour guide Botrous/Peter he is extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our trip the very best giving us a heads up before going to places coaching us on how to navigate the local Egyptians at each activity and was always available if he was needed for anything at anytime constantly letting us know where he would be while we were having our free time at places.. Accommodations were excellent especially in Hurghada... Downside is it's pretty fast paced and would have enjoyed extra time at some places but overall it was a wonderful experience and again our tour leader was faultless and one of the highlights of our tour of Egypt 🇪🇬. Jordan was different we loved all the sites of Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.. Our guide was ok would often disappear at places and wasn't available to interact with us as he was off talking with the local Jordanians as he said "he's famous" over there and he seemed more comfortable spending his time with them rather than us.. Accommodations were ok however the Accommodation in Amman was terrible with the room reeking like cigarettes and was refused a room change that I requested due to having respiratory issues which can be triggered by cigarette smoke.. We couldn't sleep as it was like sleeping in an ashtray with the bed linen, the towels everything smelled of smoke it was in everything in the room and it happened again when we went back to the same hotel for our lastnight of our tour. Though we had a different room the same thing happened and it wasn't just us it was other's in our group too that had the same thing with there rooms.. It was the only accommodation in our whole stay in both countries to be like this but having 2 nights there also took away from enjoying our Jordanian trip.. I would probably suggest using different accommodation for upcoming tours to Jordan.. Accommodation in Petra was absolutely sensational only problem was we didn't arrive till very late and had to leave very early which was a waste as an extra night and time here would have been so worthwhile to enjoy everything they had to offer.. In summation loved everything about Egypt as for Jordan loved the historical sites but wasn't keen on the country itself...Show more
