What a great hassle free 4 day tour of Turkmenistan. Azat and his team took care of getting all the paperwork needed to visit Turkmenistan. We met with him the night before the tour to go over logistics. He explained the border crossings. Once we crossed into Turkmenistan there was a representative to help us do everything necessary- pay the visa fee, get Covid test, get passport stamped etc. it was very smooth. We had 2 separate drivers and felt very safe with each one of them. But be warned that the roads in Turkmenistan are very bad, so if you get motion sickness make sure to pack some medicine for it. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and answered any questions we had. He was able to describe everything in English for us. He helped us at restaurants if we had any questions on what the food was if there wasn’t any English menu. The vast differences in what we saw was amazing- from the Devarza Crater, to Ashgabat, to Merv. We just got back from a two-week tour of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and it was a really great experience. A big thank you to our guides and drivers, you made everything run so smoothly. The whole atmosphere during the tour was warm and welcoming, and since we were just two people, it never felt like a big, impersonal group tour. This kind of trip is perfect if you love being on the move, you won’t have much downtime because you’ll spend some time in a car or on a plane every second day. Some days can get pretty intense, especially if you’re not super fit, but it’s still totally manageable, and after the busier stretches, you get some quieter days to recharge. The organization was spot-on, and the flexibility to travel during Ramadan, without any issues was a big plus. We’d reached out to a few agencies for this combo trip, but Guided Travels got back to us within an hour, which really showed how much they care about their clients. Overall the communication via WhatsApp during the whole tour was quick and smooth. It wasn’t just a typical sightseeing trip, we really got to experience these places in a way that felt personal and immersive. If you’re planning a trip to Central Asia and don’t mind a fast-paced adventure, this is a great way to do it. Thanks for an awesome trip!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 28th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 28th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Guided Travels LTD. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
