  The tour was great. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient and kind. There were several people on the tour who were always late, couldn't walk and shouldn't have come, but he accommodated. I look forward to the time now when I can block those daily solicitations from TourRadar.Show more

  I thought CIE tours was good. We took two tours separated by two days. Our tours were the London Day Tripper and the Scottish Dream. Our excellent driver was Dan, on both our trips. Our tour director in London, Lisa Richardson, was excellent. She went above our expectations. She came into the lobby of the hotel each day after our tour to answer any questions we had about restaurants, shopping, train, and bus travel, etc. She stayed in the hotel for at least an hour to accommodate our questions. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. It would have nice to have a few more dinners included in our London trip. The Scottish Dream included most of the dinners. CIE made defined stops at so many of the highlights in both of these countries. I would recommend CIE.Show more

Trip should be a day longer, Include the Abbey and a free afternoon. We paid an additional $200 a piece for a guide at the Abbey and left Windsor early to take the tourShow more

  Guide was Fantastic! Driver was Wonderful and always parked conveniently. Sites visited were great. Traffic was so bad in London that we never got back to hotel until around 6:00-7:00 pm and on one occasion it was closer to 8:00pm. Many travelers had to hire private Uber Drivers to come to sites and take them back to London in order to make dinner and theater reservations. Many people on the tour believed they would be getting back to London in time for their own exploration of London, and for evening plans. This tour is a great highlight tour of the surrounding London sites but that should be clear to the customers so they understand that there is little free time to see the actual city sites or for their own plans in the city. Pre & Post Stays were not offered to many people who did not book with a travel agent and they were disappointed to learn they could have come early and stayed later in order to enjoy London (city and sites). Many people on this tour wanted more time at the individual sites in the itinerary. There was little time to get a bite to eat, shop, or explore sites at the destinations - Lines at all places were extremely long and often people could not get any food or drink or be able to shop due to the long lines to get in, to pay, or any self exploration (1-1/2 hrs. is not long enough at these locations to see anything but a rushed visit of the itinerary site. Many people went without lunch each day of the itinerary. Many people thought the tour should be a few days longer, in order to have more time at each site within the itinerary and then to enjoy the area before having to rush back to the bus. The Guide (John) was fantastic at getting us into the sites very quickly and the timing was perfect at almost everywhere we went to avoid the rush of other groups coming to the site. He was always counting and making sure that the group was staying together - and the pace was an easy pace that everyone could stay up with during the walking portions of the tours. He took time to talk to the individuals of the group and to learn people's names which made the tour more fun and enjoyable. This should be listed as a Highlight Tour of Not to be Missed sites in the Surrounding London Area. It would be a better experience if it was a 7 day tour with sites spread out more. Pre & Post stays should be promoted, in order to enjoy London as well as the surrounding city sites.Show more
