We chose a short tour so that we could travel north to Sapporo without having to make day to day arrangements. The tour was a really good way to achieve this. We had a small tour bus with 34 people so it wasnt as crowded as it could have been. The guides were very knowledgeable and took the time to inform us about Japan culture, history and local information about shops, restaurants and specialities of each prefecture. We certainly would not have got this level of insight on our own. Our guide Ken was extremely well prepared with so much background and fun facts. Both guides carefully planned the daily activities, and we rarely had crowds, which was great. They included some really nice elements such as the zen meditation at a temple and a Shinto blessing, both.of which were wonderful. Things to be prepared for: most of the travel group will be spanish speaking, so you may feel isolated within the group and cultures / group expectations may be different. Sometimes there are less good stops such as the shopping visit outside of Saporro and the tea ceremony had no ceremony at all. Some of the hotel lunches provided were less good. Overall we were pleased to have done the tour and had lots of experiences along the way. The guide was really approachable and was happy to help with solving problems along the way such as members of the group needing medications.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of $125 is required to confirm your booking with Europamundo. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
