Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and get a hotel transfer sorted right away. After checking in, you have time to wander around nearby neighborhoods or grab dinner at one of the local spots. The city's food scene is really worth trying on your first evening.

- Day 2
Lima
This morning starts with a guided city tour covering Lima's colonial past. You'll see Casa Aliaga, an old mansion from the 1500s, then head to Plaza Mayor to check out the cathedral there. The day wraps up at the Larco Museum, where they've got a huge collection of pre-Hispanic art and artifacts.

- Day 3
Lima to Cusco
After breakfast you'll fly to Cusco, touching down before 10:00 AM. A transfer takes you to the hotel so you can rest and get used to the altitude. In the afternoon, you'll walk around Cusco's main sights including the Temple of the Sun and the cathedral. From there you'll head out to Sacsayhuaman Fortress and nearby sites like Qenqo, Puca Pucarà, and Tambomachay. These ancient spots sit high above the city with great views.

Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco
An early morning transfer gets you to Ollantaytambo where you'll board the Inca Rail Voyager train with views of the Andean highlands. You'll then take a bus up to Machu Picchu and spend time exploring the temples, terraces, and sacred areas. After lunch at Café Inkaterra by the river, you'll train back to Ollantaytambo and get driven back to Cusco.

- Day 6
Cusco - Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain)
Start before sunrise and head to Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain, which sits at 5,200 m elevation. You'll eat breakfast in Cusipata first, then hike through the highland valleys where alpacas graze and eventually reach the colorful mineral slopes of Rainbow Mountain. You'll also get views of the Ausangate Glacier. After spending time there and taking photos, you'll hike back down for lunch in Cusipata and then return to Cusco.
