  After spending a few days in Marrakech, we really wanted to get somewhere quieter and experience the desert without joining a large group. This three-day trip to Erg Chigaga was exactly the change of pace we needed. The drive through the Atlas Mountains and toward Zagora was beautiful. I liked how quickly the scenery changed—from mountain roads and valleys to dry, open landscapes. It didn't feel like we were simply driving to the desert; the journey itself was part of the experience. Erg Chigaga was the real highlight. The dunes felt incredibly remote, and there was a wonderful sense of being far away from everything. We arrived in time for sunset, walked around the dunes and then spent the evening at the camp. Dinner, music around the fire and the silence afterwards made it a very memorable night. The camp was comfortable without taking away from the feeling of being in the desert. Our driver was also excellent—friendly, relaxed and happy to explain things or stop whenever we wanted.Show more

  After spending a few busy days in Marrakech, we really wanted to experience a quieter side of Morocco. We weren't looking for crowded places or a quick desert photo stop—we wanted to feel the desert, and this tour gave us exactly that. The journey from Marrakech was already an adventure. We loved watching the landscape slowly change as we crossed the Atlas Mountains and moved from green valleys to dry desert scenery. The stops along the way made the drive enjoyable, and we felt like we were discovering Morocco step by step. Zagora was interesting, but the real magic started when we continued toward Erg Chigaga. The feeling of getting further away from everything was incredible. The roads became more remote, the landscapes more dramatic, and the silence around us was something we had never experienced before. Arriving at the luxury camp in the middle of the dunes was a special moment. It didn't feel like a hotel in the desert—it felt like our own little world surrounded by endless sand. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, a delicious dinner, and a quiet evening under thousands of stars. What we loved most was the atmosphere. There was no rush, no crowds, and no feeling of being part of a big tourist group. We had time to walk in the dunes, enjoy the views, and simply appreciate where we were. Our driver was also a big part of making the experience memorable. He was relaxed, friendly, and shared many interesting stories about the desert and the people who live there. We felt like we were traveling with someone who truly knows and loves this region. This was not just a desert tour—it was a chance to disconnect, slow down, and experience a completely different side of Morocco.Show more
