I have been on many different tours across the world with mixed success with tour leaders on TourRadar. Of this experience, I have found G Adventures (on the 4 tours I have experienced) to be of the highest standard both in terms of professionalism and knowledge. Khader (CEO) somehow managed to exceed the standard I expect from G Adventures. This CEO was not only professional and knowledgeable but also displayed innovative ways to constantly optimize the experience (this included many different ways of taking photos and videos through Petra and Wadi Rum). His depth of knowledge maximized every stop we had. What truly set him apart from other CEOs was two things. He said that "the traveler always comes first" and reacted in a way I had not seen before. One of the other travelers was overcharged for a diving experience (on a part of the tour he was not scheduled to be on and it was her [the traveler] own fault), and instead of saying "it's done now," he went back and demanded that the situation be rectified, which took a couple of heated phone calls. He did not stop until the traveler was 100% happy; in short, he went over and above. The second thing was he purposely suppressed his feelings about neighboring countries, even though he said his family is based in Palestine. He intentionally did this not to colour our perception. I can only imagine how hard this is to do. In short, Khader is not only a great advert for G Adventures but also a fantastic ambassador for Jordan.

great trip, organisation was good, khadar was wonderful, very informative but fun. He gave us good insight into the ancient and modern world of Jordan, with plenty of free time to explore. Highly recommend.
