We did a custom itinerary in January with my wife, and the experience was excellent. All of the safaris were outstanding. Our safari drivers were knowledgeable and skilled at navigating the roads and spotting animals. They knew exactly when and where to be, without rushing or disturbing the wildlife. The lodges that were booked for us were also great. Overall, we had a wonderful experience in Sri Lanka.Show more

We traveled with Roar & Rove last August on a one-week trip around Sri Lanka. We visited several major national parks and had an amazing safari experience. We saw all the animals we hoped to see, including leopards five times in both Wilpattu and Yala, as well as sloth bears, mugger crocodiles, elephants, and many other animals and birds. The jeep drivers in each national park were experienced and skilled, and most importantly, very respectful toward the animals. For example, when we visited Yala, many drivers were rushing to spot leopards, but our driver was patient and waited at exactly the right place where he predicted a leopard would cross. His prediction was accurate, and the wait was worth it. Instead of fighting through dusty crowds, we were able to see the big cat crossing right in front of our jeep. I would definitely recommend Roar & Rove for anyone who wants a wonderful week of safari in Sri Lanka. Special thanks to Lahiru for an unforgettable experience.Show more

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Roar and Rove. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Roar and Rove will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Roar and Rove" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
