  Had an incredible experience in Sri Lanka. We were very fortunate to see the majority of the wildlife the country had to offer, including many of the rarer species. I do wish we had spent more time in Kandy, Sigiriya, and Ella, but it leaves something for us to come back to and we will definitely use Roar & Rove again!Show more

  We spent one week on safari with a great and highly experienced guide (Wasantha from Roar & Rove). From Wilpattu to Minneriya, and from Horton Plains to Yala, we encountered countless animals and birds and experienced some truly impressive wildlife scenes. In addition, we visited a tea plantation near Nuwara Eliya and enjoyed a few days in Hikkaduwa. Safety was excellent throughout the trip. We made a few custom requests regarding the hotels we wanted to stay in, as well as some extra activities, and they were all arranged seamlessly by the Roar & Rove team. I would definitely recommend this tour and Roar & Rove for a safari trip around Sri Lanka!Show more

  We had an absolutely incredible experience with Roar & Rove! Everything was well organized, but the true highlight of our trip was our guide, Kesara. From start to finish, Kesara was outstanding. He is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We had so many questions about the wildlife and the landscape, and he took the time to answer every single one with a smile. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. As for the game drives, we saw a wide variety of animals, but the leopards were the absolute showstoppers! Thanks to Kesara and our safari driver’s spotting skills, we didn’t just see one or two, we saw several leopards throughout the trip. It was magical to observe them in their natural habitat. I highly recommend booking with Roar & Rove and Into the Wild, and definitely ask for Kesara if you can. He made our safari truly special!Show more

  What an unbelievably beautiful country Sri Lanka is. We enjoyed every minute of it. The safari with Roar & Rove, along with our guide Kesara, exceeded all our expectations. It truly created unforgettable memories in the best possible way. The accommodations were excellent, and the transportation throughout the tour was comfortable and always on time. Sri Lankan food was some of the best we’ve ever had. We would definitely return for another tour and to explore more of the island, especially with some hiking.Show more

  We had an amazing week in Sri Lanka’s parks and were extremely happy with our safari. We saw elephants, monkeys, leopards, wild boars, sloth bears, and crocodiles, along with many other wild animals. not to mention the outstanding landscapes and the very professional, excellent company of our driver and animal trackers. The accommodation was very good, both outside the parks and in the tent camp. The food was also good, and the people were very friendly. We highly recommend Roar & Rove for the excellent organization of our stay during our safari in Sri Lanka. We definitely recommend going on a safari here. it’s very affordable and a beautifully lush, green island with incredible wildlife!Show more

  Earlier this month, we travelled to Sri Lanka to fulfil our dream of going on safari, and we were not disappointed. Lahiru from Roar & Rove was very friendly and helpful in ensuring all our wishes were met, creating a personalized package for a dream holiday. We managed to visit all the famous national parks in Sri Lanka, namely Wilpattu, Minneriya, Horton Plains, and Yala National Park. The scenery was fabulous, and we saw a lot of animals. Our guide, Kesara (Eagle Eye – the best guide ever), was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. It was an amazing trip and a wonderful time we spent together, travelling in this beautiful country called Sri Lanka. We highly recommend Roar & Rove for a dream holiday!Show more

  My husband and I did an online booking for our first safari with Roar & Rove. Our skilled driver/guide, Kesara, did everything possible to make our trip memorable. We visited six national parks: Wilpattu, Minneriya, Wasgamuwa, Horton Plains, Yala, and the Sinharaja Rainforest. Each of them is exciting and beautiful, but our favorite is Wilpattu. It was very adventurous, with all the small roads, creeks, and wildlife. We were lucky to visit in February when many animals and birds had babies. It was amazing to see the love and protection the animals give to their young ones. Our guide and safari drivers were careful not to disturb nature and wildlife. They informed each other where they had spotted animals so all the visitors could enjoy the sight. In these five national parks, we enjoyed the company of leopards, sloth bears, mongooses, elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, giant squirrels, and colorful birds. I can’t even describe the feeling of seeing them in their natural habitat. I should also mention the people of Sri Lanka. Our first contact was Lahiru at Roar & Rove, and everything went smoothly. Wherever we went and whatever we asked for, we were welcomed and served with a smile. Sri Lankans are very welcoming and respectful people, and we were very happy in their company. The food is excellent! It’s not too spicy, but it’s more than tasty. The cooked meals, fresh fruit, and delicious desserts, including curd with kithul treacle, made it hard to choose. Sri Lanka is a country with beautiful and untouched nature and wildlife, welcoming and happy people, and delicious food. We’re definitely coming back!Show more

If you’re looking for professionalism and passion at a great value, this is the company to choose. Traveling around the beautiful island of Sri Lanka was a unique experience. The people, food, culture, and wildlife were all fantastic. The tourism industry here is very welcoming, and since English is widely spoken, it made communication easy. All the lodges and staff were top-notch, so friendly and kind. We always felt safe.
