We recently participated in an 8-day tour of Balkan countries. The trip was excellent. In addition to beautiful countryside and friendly people in every country we spent time in, our guide, Endri, was one of the best we have ever experienced in our many travels. He shared an in-depth knowledge of each of the countries we visited, and he was extremely customer-focused throughout the trip. He made our trip a delight! Because we were in our 70’s, the company was very amenable to arranging transportation to and from pick-up points, which we really appreciated. The only thing that surprised us during the whole trip was the amount of car travel there was each day. It would have been nice to know up-front that some days required over 3.5 hours of travel, which limited the number of things we were able to see. Overall, however, we highly recommend this trip for anyone interested in learning more about the Balkans, and we also highly recommend Endri as our guide.Show more

The tour was excellent with many highlights, especially the newly included Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Decan. Our tour guide Endri offered exceptional customer service, and we had good fun with him. In minor points, sometime communication with the company was insufficient, for example, we had a wonderful breakfast tour the last day, but we had not realized breakfast came in that format and the company did not answer our queries. Equally, would be great if the company offered an optional advance booking for the wine tour at Stone Castle, as it must be booked two days in advance so we could not go, though we wanted to. These are small points, and we enjoyed the tour immensely. Well worth it.Show more
