This circular hike begins near Auberge du Ried and takes you through forests and mountain pastures up to Petit Ballon (1,272m), one of the Vosges' main peaks. From the top, you'll get clear views over the Rhine plain and the surrounding mountains. The descent passes traditional farm-restaurants and historical sites through quiet forest paths, finishing back at Auberge du Ried with blueberry tart, then you'll transfer to Turckheim on the Wine Route.
